This product worked perfectly for our 69$ Shardor bean grinder. Our grinder had gotten to the point where we were having to press the grind button nearly 3 times just to fill the bin. Shardor doesn't offer a replacement burr. Figured I'd try this one since it was only 13$ versus buying another new grinder. One modification that's needed is you must remove the plastic housing from the Shardor burr and transfer it to this Bodium burr. Easy with a small flat head screw driver, then viola! My bean grinder outs brand new again!

My coffee grinder had been taking longer and longer to grind. I was getting ready to replace the entire unit, but while I was searching, I saw this item, which let me replace just the blades -- and at a fraction of the price. After installing the new burr (easy, just like when you clean the unit), it was like I had a new grinder. Someday the grinder motor will probably burn out, but at least I've been able to extend its life by just replacing the blades.

My Bodum Bistro is still going strong at 12 years and daily use (mainly, Aero Press, drip, and Moka). The burrs were feeling dull, which made me think maybe it was time to consider a new and different grinder - then I found this replacement part for the burrs. Very sharp and has breathed new life into the grinder! It is faster and grinds are more uniform. Maybe 12 more years?

This will be my third burr grinder replacement. The first one which came with the Bodum lasted for roughly two years. I use the grinder a lot -- and thus I felt it was a good deal just having to replace the burr, which I did in September of last year. This second one that I'm now using has lasted maybe four months and I need to replace it again. My grinder routine has not changed or increased, so I'm not sure why this burr is no longer producing the results it should -- after only four months of use. The cost to replace the burr is one-fourth the price of a new grinder, currently. At this rate, I'll be spending the same amount of money on burrs in 16 months as I would just replacing the grinder.I like the Bodum grinder. I like that it uses a glass container to catch the grinders -- that reduces the static problem. The grind is generally consistent. Good enough for me. But the quality of the burrs is questionable at this point. I am concerned, too, that the grinder itself -- now into its third year of use -- will fail soon. The motor can only last so long, as with any grinder.Still it's a good grinder and reasonably priced compared to others.

It’s good to have delicious, flavorful coffee again! This is a simple to install replacement part. Our morning coffee was becoming weaker and less flavorful. I had begun to double the grind time, using more and more beans, but our favorite coffee was still missing flavor and fullness. After some research I decided that the burr blades must be dull. The grinds had small clumps - easy to break apart - but this indicated that the beans were getting smashed together rather than cut by the blades. I ordered this replacement part - the outer burr blade. It arrived the next day. To replace all I had to do was twist the hopper counter clockwise to take it off, lift out the dull old blade and drop the new one in its place. Put the hopper back on and you are in business. I typically call a handyman for everything but this I did myself and it took about 10 seconds. I only missed one day of coffee waiting for the part to arrive. The new blades make a HUGE difference! The burr grinder works as if it’s brand new. This easy replacement made such a difference in the quality of our coffee. We love our Bodum burr grinder. Our coffee is once again consistently good. Highly recommend!

Got this to replace the factory burr, which was damaged by a small stone that was inside a bag of coffee (I cannot remember the coffee brand, unfortunately). While I was able to continue using my grinder after I cleared out the rock, the grinder produced noticeably more uneven grounds that affected the taste of any brew method finer than French press.Replacing the burr was easy, and it restored the grinder back to its original condition.

Passt sehr gut. Am Anfang hat sich die Fräse beim Mahlen des Kaffees manchmal hoch gedrückt und ich musste den Kaffee ausschütten und die Fräse wieder fest drücken. Jetzt funktioniert es.

I purchased this part prior to buying a new bodom grinder. We checked out everything with the grinder and could not find out why it would not grind the right amount of coffee as it had done in the past the only thing we could think of is that the blades were dull, so we ordered this to see if it worked as last ditch effort to save the machine because everything else was working fine. Low and behold it’s back to being perfect for $20.

This is the best coffee grinder I’ve used by a country mile. It will do a fine enough grind for making espresso coffee, however it is not designed making 20 cups a day. Now I should get to the new grinding blades. My grinder sounded like it was dying and dreaded having to replace it. Then I got this new part and my grinder was reincarnated, it was like new again. Please take note…..When replacing the part I noticed there was a lot of coffee grinds packed inside the grinder. This interfered with your newly ground beans getting to the coffee catcher. The coffee grounds get caught in the grinder after the beans are ground and before they leave the shoot.
