Your cart is empty.The 30MM Telescoping Support Brace provides added stability and support for our LTM-MS-25 Universal Vehicle Laptop Mount when needed. If you are using a larger laptop and there is more vibration, the brace will help stabilize the mount. The brace can be mounted several different ways, either to another seat bolt or to any hard stable surface using a 3M Dual Lock Fastener, then just attach to the portable laptop mount. More than one brace can be used with the laptop mount if desired. The brace utilizes an easy "Twist Lock Mechanism" to lock the telescoping tubes in place after installation. Now you can get precise length without having to drill holes into the pole. The telescoping brace is durable, lightweight and easy to install. The aluminum telescoping tube expands from 15” to 24”, which will work in the interior of most vehicles. I am using the Mobotron universal computer mount in my car and already had one brace installed. I was still noticing some wobble so I ordered a second brace to stop the wobble and eliminate extra play.The tube is very sturdy and the top attachment hold snugly. The foot end of the brace is plastic on metal and is adjustable. This area seems weak to me as I am noticing some bending when I try to make it tight. This leads to the second issue; the brace is adjustable (length) and it does not hold for me. It uses a twist lock between the tubes and it is initially tight but does seem to work loose over time.I would like to see a different type of tube length lock and less plastic on metal attachments.

Not sure if it serves its purpose. The bar is aluminum, so, no surprise on the sturdiness of the bar, but it’s impossible to glue/attach/hook to anything in the car unless you screw into the floor. I don’t have that luxury, so I’m effed with balancing it with pressure.

I use 2 of these as extra support for my laptop mount in my Ranger pickup for storm chasing. Because of where I have the laptop positioned over the center console these allow you to remove all sway from the setup and give a strong, solid, vibration free mount.

Easy to install, 3 screws / 15 minutes to install once you locate a place to mount it. Stabilizes the laptop mount with ease. I would recommend this bracket to all who have purchase the Mobotron MS-525, MS-526...

This accessory aided in making my vehicle computer mount more stable. I recommend using this with the ‘Mount it’ vehicle computer mount. Note: a degree of mechanical aptitude may be required when installing this accessory and care should be exercised in the choice of location to affix it by drilling or screwing it to the vehicle body. Avoid distributing any electrical wiring looms or lines.

I Find this awkward to install in a F150 and also awkward to manipulate to move it out of the way but it does serve the purpose with a little wobble on bumps......will try to change the brace to a more opposing axis from the main support ....but that will interfere with my cup holders.....hmmmm.
