So far these are really lovely crayon/watercolors. A little goes a long way. I did this little sketch with just the black crayon and a wet q-tip. These will be a good travel companion because you can color it dry and wet it later or just go wet from the start. So if you are on the train or something you don't have to worry about a water cup. Very strong colors.

These are lovely, smooth wax pastels that work fine as is- BUT, using water with them? Stunning. The pigmentation is vibrant and holds through as much as you want to thin it out, even as a wash. And their ability to layer with other media is so fun! Highly recommend, especially if you like versatile and rich mediums.

These are amazing for watercolor! Very tempted to buy the larger 30 set in the future. For larger areas I just use them right out of the box, then bring a damp brush in to get an instant wash. Pigments are intense and lush. For detailed work I use a wetted small round brush and dap the tip of the brush directly on the blunt end; this gives a very pigment-rich touch for fine lines, figures, shorelines, etc. I've tried a couple of brands of these... but this one is superior. They really got this right.

I used to use watercolor pencils but they were very limited and didn't absorb the paper. The colors were bland. Why I didn't know about this before? Try it and you'll be wanting more.I am far from being the best in art but it sure felt like I was. FYI. The guitar is a Valentine's card for my son.

I received my package earlier than expected witch was nice and the color's are really pretty... however you have one crayon listed as "purple" when it is clearly pink... although still a pretty color, that is the reason why the product is getting four stars in stead of five

I never used these but do a lot of art and Journaling and wanted to try these. I'm learning, they're like crayons all hyped up! They're so fun to play with in many ways. When wet the colors are beautiful! Highly recommend!

Nor really crayons, as we know as children. Intense colours, soft and blendable. I take this tiny tin out to sketch with a pot of water and my sketch is turned into a watercolour. Genius and so easy to use.
