This set has a wide variety of color. The chalk is soft and easy to use, It will use up fast, but that is just because they transfer a lot of color. They look best on a dark back ground, but work on white as well. easy to blend.

I put a 35 by 35 inch chalkboard in my "art corner" and wanted something nicer than standard chalk to use. These erase pretty well, the colors are bright, the color variety is decent, and only one was broken when it arrived. I will probably use these with my mixed media paper too. I don't use pastels, but I had a lot of fun doodling with these on the chalkboard. The price isn't bad either, so there's a good chance I'll get these again.

I initially received some that were broken , but the seller sent a replacement. I’m so excited to use these and create art. They are buttery and amazing.

For the sale price this set is meh. I wish they had a lot less greys and more colors like lavender, sap green, turquoise. They are VERY soft and break really easily. I use mine for chalkboard drawings and they don’t blend very well on the board, not sure how they’d do on paper. I have been using Rembrandt for years and years and wanted to add to my colors which are getting small. These are less than average. I will just spend the extra and get Rembrandt next time.

Great variety of colors to make blending easy. Blend nicely. Really appreciate that they are numbered. I took two days to finish a picture and was able to note the numbers to ensure I used the same colors the next day. Really pleased!
