I have noticed that it charges at a good pace it’s compact size makes it easier for use so I can still do my job and it is very durable I have dropped a few times I have not had any problems with communication with my team and feel comfortable

I work on a farm and our biggest events are our Pumpkinfest/ Horrorfest in September and October and our drive thru Holiday Light Show from Thanksgiving into the New Year.I am in charge of parking cars in the fields and have a crew of 6. On peak days we park over 5,000 cars a day and communication is key to our success because people really can't understand how to park in open fields.These radios have been excellent so far. Battery life gets us through a minimum of 30 hours on a single charge. The range has been amazing.It's way better than the smaller battery operated radios we were using that ate through 6 AAA batteries per day.The next test will be in temperatures in the 20's thru 40 degree range starting next weekend (11/22/19) and going until the New Year.For the price I'm very satisfied and even if I get through 3 years with these, they will have been worth it.I will update around Christmas to let you know how they do in cold weather.Definitely worth a try in my opinion.UPDATE 3 YEARS LATER....(11/21/2022)These radios have stood the test of time. Since we started using them in the fall of 2019, they have been nothing short of spectacular. They are used over 30 hours on the weekends before I take them home to charge. They have been in the pouring rain, they have been dropped, and during the Christmas Light Show, they have been subjected to snow, sleet, and sub 30 degree temperatures and have worked perfectly. It was only this past weekend when one of the antennas broke off, no big deal, I ordered 8 shorter replacement antennas which I think will be easier to deal with anyways. I know some people gave bad reviews but sometimes people get a bad BMW or Mercedes and that doesn't make them bad cars.I still highly recommend these radios because they have proven to be 100% dependable for me and my crew.

These walkie talkies maybe something less than "industrial" quality, but certainly fit the bill for occasional use - There is nothing on these units that feels cheap or inferior - I don't think anyone could expect better performance out of these units - I would suggest the ear pieces if being used in moderate-to-high background noise environments. Purchase with confidence. Even of you don't use all six, this 6-pack bundle is well-worth the cost just to be able so swap units while the others recharge.

I was under the impression that this walkie talkie set would be able to communicate with the other set I had previously purchased. You can hear the persons, but you could also hear the static - white noise. I will be sending this set back.

Retevis walkie talkies are line of sight with more power than most, there distance for talking is very good most of the time. We have used these at our goat dairy which is especailly useful when tracking lost goats.Now I am using them for my 7 person fire evacuation team so we may stay together while fleeing.They are perfect for that use.Even though I have one charger for each Walkie Talkie. The thought of charging them all at once in a single charge is a nice change.These are not toys but real walkie talkies that will serve a good purpose for many years to come.

Está sencillo, no son de largo alcance, se cruza la comunicación con algunos radios o transmisiones cercanas, tienes que oprimir, esperar unos 3 segundos para hablar y que se escuche. La base a la semana se le fundió una luz de carga. Pero bueno el precio habla de que es un aparato básico si lo quieres para algo sencillo están bien. UP date a 9 meses ya solo sirven 2 radios. Los usamos en restaurante y no aguantaron la batalla

My experience was not anywhere as good as some have postedWe used these radios in an amusement park,Cedar point, could not get a signal across the park from one end to another. So we tried them again on a hunting trip,We had minimum interference between us and no signal to each other under a mile away.We were out in as country as you could be, only one house between us,These may work well in short range like a construction site
