I used the anti slip tape for my parents shower. I like this better than the traditional bathtub adhesive because it is raised & I felt it would grip better for my elderly dad. It was very easy to apply, and comfortable to bare feet

I have a ramp which is used for my dogs occasionally to get up and down from our deck. It works well for them and they are able to run up and down without a problem. After the first snow of the season, I didn't think it was very safe if there were icy or snowy conditions so I ordered this. Installation was easy and it took about 15 minutes for me to install on each track. The glue isn't very sticky though and the strips starting peeling up after a day or two. I resolved that by tacking with small nails and haven't had a problem since. In the end, these look nice and do what is intended. This strip is thicker than I expected and has great traction. It was cut easily to size with scissors. I'm not sure if this will last through the winter, but the price is reasonable enough to replace and it gives extra security in slippery situations.

I have purchased this product before, so I looked for it and found it on amazon and was so grateful. I am putting this on the steps. Around my hot tub. Excellent rubber surface to eliminate slipping and the adhesive works.Perfect, and has not came up yet.

Colorful and definitely anti-slippy due to the fairly rough plastic grains. My main need for this is for an outdoor structure that has its door facing north so in the winter snow/ice tends to stay there for a while and it gets very slippery. This would be a good solution if I could get the tape to stick to concrete and stay there. To test it I scrubbed a (different) section of concrete and let it dry, see pic. Although there is snow on the ground the temperature was about 50 F when I put the tape down. A few hours later it was obvious that the tape was not adhering to the concrete. The adhesive is very thin, and I suspect that you need a very smooth (and warmer) surface for this tape to really stick. Pool areas may be good or very smooth wood. Maybe silicone would help it stick better to concrete and I might try that at some point when everything gets warmer.

For me, the reality is that I'm only using the 12 and 14 gauge strippers 95% of the time - it's a simple house. I tested it on some scrap wires and it works as expected. I suggest it will take a while to get used to using an auto-stripper if you are used to a standard wire stripping tool, but "welcome to automation". The strippers seem to be of high quality and the blades look like they will last at least one house worth of stripping. Overall, this looks like a good purchase. I'll update if I find any concerns.

I received this tape with a purpose to use on a wooden ramp. I live in the PNW by the coast so during the rainy season, it rains, a lot. We don't have a whole lot of snow, maybe a couple days a year and an occasional silver thaw. Last year I didn't have anti-slip tape down, slipped and my ample body landed on my lower leg and broke my ankle. Man that sucker hurt! Anyway, my son put down the sanded type tape and it lasted through the rainy season but when it started into the dry season, it ripped and came up. He had used staples to re-inforce the sticky but not enough. So this year, I saw this stuff and it's so different I was hoping it would be a big improvement! So far it is. I've had it up for little over a month now and it has caught slips with myself, my family and running dogs (big dogs). I LIKE IT! It is kinda squishy. I bet it feels great on bare feet like in a pool. Once bitten, twice shy though and we did reinforce the sticky with quite a few extra staples. The wood has slimy mold on it and I just didn't feel I could get it clean enough for the sticky to be enough. I really do like the color too! A bit of bright in a drab, boring, well, wet season. It's only 15' long for $15. I had to get another roll but that's ok. I'm cautiously optimistic this will work and possibly last more than one season! Let's see how it goes!

This anti-slip tape works well, and blends in with the coloring of naturally stained deck wood, especially. Though the pieces of rubber are pretty secure, I still wouldn't use it anywhere near chickens or a coop, because they're going to peck at it regardless, and you will lose some of the rubber to their efforts. The tape cuts best with a straight edge, vs. a pair of regular scissors. It does prevent slipping from water and ice with regular shoes. I think Crocs with a smooth bottom may still slip, however.Overall, a decent product.
