I primarily fish inshore saltwater and these pliers are perfect. They are made for this environment and work great

Now that's what I expected. The best of the best! That's some nice hand tools. Strong.wont twist on a hook. Easy cut. Thanks nice tool. Well worth the money

I'm pretty quick to hand out five stars, but given the price and the fact that the screws which hold on the teeth rusted after a few hours of surf-casting, I give them four.Also, I'd like the clip on the sheath to be a little longer and to grip the belt or pocket quite a bit better for the price.They're comfortable to use and work well otherwise. They are definitely a step up from what I used to use.UPDATE: This may sound shocking, but they stopped working. Thirty years of construction and I've never seen pliers stop working. They froze open while I was taking a hook out. I'm talking using two hands struggling to close them. A few minutes later they were completely free for a few seconds and then siezed again and have remained seized since. I oiled them with Ballistol but they won't give.
