It's a typical trailer hitch of good quality, it fits perfectly and looks factory if installed correctly. I watched the factory install video before actually installing it to learn about any tips specific to that vehicle. With that little extra knowledge I completed the job in 90 minutes. Using a small 1/4 inch drive impact and a step bit to enlarge the needed hole helped to speed up the job. The entire job was easy with no issues except for a little trimming of the plastic under cover and the underside of the bumper where it touches the hitch (dead center). That was at the very end of the job and is not visible.

Not the easiest thing to install but absolutely doable if you have jack stands, some basic tools and some patience. The hardest part for me was enlarging the holes in the frame. A brand new step bit had a lot of trouble boring the holes in the frame. Once I had that done, the rest was pretty easy. There is a bit of trimming with the heat shield and the plastic pan but some tin snips made short work of it. Once installed, it looks great and is hardly visible. Great if you want to add a rear bike rack! Feels super beefy and solid and the coating looks like it should last for many years. Very happy I got this!

Works great on my 2024 ES300h. Like that most of the hitch is hidden!

Lets start with the instructions, They are pretty bad!. But It is not rocket science. I am a professional mechanic and have installed many hitches over the years and this one is quite average [2018 Camry] I did this at home in the driveway on a set of car ramps. Took me 1.5 hours start to finish working alone. Remove the plastic cover shield, the front and rear muffler hangers [single exhaust, I just took the bolts out of the hangers rather than wrestle with the rubber part of the hanger, the bolts need to be removed on the rear hanger anyway because the hitch will use those locations to bolt to. then with the muffler lowered some i was able to remove the heat shield and later do the required trimming on it. The drawing of the heat shield trimming makes sense when you see the location of where the large bolts will mount the hitch. Now I did not enlarge the holes like the instructions tell you to do on the box frame, Instead I drilled a new hole in the box frame of the car just forward around 6 inches of where the hitch bolts go, I used a hole saw that was just large enough to feed the bolt and carriage rectangular washer up through the frame with the Chinese fingers supplied in the kit and later put paint on the bare metal areas. I popped out a small plastic insert in the frame and used that as a pilot hole, the hole saw cut through the frame like butter, its not that thick. Now Put the heat shield back up, Then laying on my back i put the hitch up in place running the wire from the Chinese fingers down through the correct holes on the hitch. I started the rear small bolts first to hold the hitch in place, then guided the large bolts through, removed the C. fingers and started the large nuts. on the passenger side you now want to start the 2 bolts with the exhaust hanger included. after all 6 fasteners are started , tighten them up. put your front muffler hanger back up. place the plastic trim cover in place and trace with some white chalk where it will need to be trimmed around the receiver portion of the hitch. All in all it was easy for me, the hardest part was drilling the hole above the muffler but using that small factory hole as a pilot I was actually able to drill on an angle just in front of the muffler. Another note, I felt is was way easier to drill new holes rather than enlarge the existing ones plus the bolt is less likely to pull through if someone were to enlargen the hole to much

Hitch was perfect for my bike rack. Perfect fit. Did need some drilling (to enlarge 2 holes and cutting which was expected when I purchased it. This was in the directions in the directions and was necessary. Note that my 2020 Camry frame is made of a very very hard steel alloy and I used up 2 high quality "step drill bits" enlarging 2 holes. Be prepared for this.On my Camry, the receiver comes to 1' from the back of the bumper which I was satisfied. It is as high from the ground as possible. Satisfied with this hitch but be prepared for work to install it. I installed mine using a lift. On my car, any hitch would have been the same amount of effort.
