I’ve been fishing with this for three days now and this rod/reel combo seems to be a great value. The rod is very sturdy but has decent action. I can still feel my lures on the end of the line. The reel is not the best but it works. I’ve noticed that it seems to grind a little when the drag is high, so I oiled it but no change. As a result, I keep the drag low and it’s a pretty smooth reel. I haven’t really tested it yet but based on the price I’d buy it again

Awesome rods and reels. I had to buy a couple of them. They are lightweight and just the perfect length to fish from my kayak. Great for beginners as well as for pro. I’m using mine to fish for trout, perch and blue gills. Great value for the money.

Bought this rod for my son and he used it for the first time this past weekend and he said it works well, he likes the way it casts and it is very light weight.

I'm a vet in domicillary and the rec dept had the 6 foot model which I have been using for 2 months with no problems. I decided to purchase my own and went with the 61/2 ft model. Same quality and for the price...can't be beat. Caught 7 rainbows today when I used it for the first time! I think it casts a bit further than the 6 ft model. Great deal...I'd purchase it again in a heartbeat.

This rod & reel combo is an excellent value!The reel is solid and smooth. The rod is nice and light, sensitive yet still sturdy.

When I received the package the fishing rod was broke past the reel seat. So I could not test the rod. Reel is what was expected. So can only give 3 stars for 50%.

I bought this as a gift for my brother, this rod and reel combo is amazing, I saw him pull up a 20 pound flathead on this. The reel is smooth and the rod is sturdy and sensitive.

Lightweight, gets the job done, great price. I bought this as a beginner rod for my son and it is easy to use. Don't bother with the cheapest beginner rods for kids- they are a joke in my experience. Shell out an extra 20 and get something that will last.

On the first cast the top part of the rod broke. The reel is still good.Delivered on time and wasn't damaged when we got it.

Es una caña bonita y practica, me gustaron los colores, materiales y peso. El carrete es un 2500 y le monte linea trenzada de 20 lbs, que el carrete trabajo sin problema. La califico con 4 estrellas, porque recibà una caña dañada, la cual solicite el cambio/devolución y fue rapido el tramite. La caña me gusto.
