For a cheaper tool it got me out of a tight spot. I had some floor leveler that didn't lay as expected on my basement slab and needed some flattening. I was very pleased with the dust control using a shop vac and home depot dust separator. It didn't grind down concrete as easy but the sandy leveler without aggregate, it did well. Glad I bought it.

It fit my Mikita polisher but I had to purchase a nut separate as it was not a threaded grinder wheel.

Easy to attach, connection to shop vac did require a little duct tape but it eliminated 95% of the dust so very happy with this purchase.

I had to grind some leveling concrete that I over poured. It leveled it pretty well and did a great job. For the fact that I was inside the house and I can hook the vacuum cleaner up to it really made it much more reliable to me.

I had a need to grind down and smooth out a decent amount of concrete and was not looking forward to the dust cloud and time I expected it would take with a multi-tool or regular diamond blades. I ran across this combo at a far lower cost than the options from other places and gave it a try. It worked well! The pieces fit my Hitachi 4.5" angle grinder, the blade ground through the concrete at a decent rate but not too fast, and being able to connect it to my vacuum made it a much less messy activity. A respirator/mask is still needed, but I saw how well the dust shroud was working when the vacuum hose disconnected at one point. It still threw larger debris around and I had to clean up, but at least I could see what I was doing as the fine dust was sucked into the vac.Which leads me to the only negative... The "adapter" did not accommodate my 12 gallon vac, so I had to build up a combination using an adapter I had already combined with several strategic layers of duct tape. Plan to spend some time figuring out how to connect the shroud to your grinder and get a solid hose connection.

Dust cover does not fit the Dewalt Grinder. Concrete grinding wheel performed the intended purpose flawlessly.

The grinding cup wouldn’t sit low enough on the Milwaukee and P C, fit the Dewalt but no way to tighten the clamp because of obstructions. Take a close look at your grinder and look for anything that would prevent it from being clamped or being punched on far enough. The Porter Cable grinder had no obstructions but still the grinding cup was too low. I had to completely cut the rubber clamping piece together it low enough and it still rubs. When shopping for this type of item I usually read the reviews and search reviews for my brand of tool. I did not this time and paid for it.

This really saved me so much clean up after grinding 200+ sqft of thinset. However, setup was challenging as we had to get creative in how we connected the shroud to two different grinders. It didn’t sit flush and did wears unevenly at first but ultimately worked really well. Connecting it to the vacuum was challenging and we ended up duct taping it several times after trying the adapter and two different vacuums. I’m glad I bought it and would probably buy it again knowing these challenges because the benefit out weighed the challenges.
