This is a very sturdy bench scraper. I think most people would find it very useful.

I do a lot of cooking and baking at home, and this scraper has come in handy! The curved side fits well in my hand, and the hard plastic doesn't give when trying to scrape with this. I was pleased to find that there was no damage to the plastic edge after scraping stuck on food from my cast iron griddle, since that tends to mess up spatulas and other scrapers. The hard metal side is great for flat surfaces, such as counter tops, cutting boards, or griddles, since it doesn't have give or flex to it.The rubbery side helps with grip, but can also be used to scrape bowls. No more needing to reach for a last minute spatula to clean out the bits that stick in the bowl! It's nice that there are 1 cm marks on the front and 1/2 inch marks on the back to make measuring simple when working with dough. While it would be quicker to have the numbers on it, the marks work well enough and answer the question of how thick or thin a required measurement is. The bevel for the hard plastic edge helps it give a clean cut when dividing dough too. Since the hard plastic part doesn't flex, it can also work to cut soft items. Nice!Mine cleans up easily with some soap and a scrubby brush. All in all a great tool to have in the kitchen!

This is light, easy to use and easy to clean. It doesn't have little nooks and crannies for dough (and bugs) to hide in. The bench cutter is remarkably usable, despite being a little short, and the lighter, handle end doubles as a usable dough scraper: It doesn't bend to confirm to bowl sides like other good scraps, but the curved shape does allow you to angle it to the bowl to get reasonable coverage. It doesn't shed sticky doughs very well, though, so clean up isn't always very easy

This is the perfect size bench scraper. I particularly love the measurements that are included on the thinner side of the tool. The side where you grip it is shaped for ergonomic comfort, making scooping up any size dough a breeze. It also allows you to scrape out all dough bits from the mixing bowl. It works absolutely perfectly with no sticking at all and is inexpensive. I highly recommend adding this to your kitchen toolkit.

I make my own pie crust… and cinnamon rolls… and pizza dough. And no matter how much flour I put on my granite countertop, some of the dough always adheres to it. This mini dough scraper fits nicely in my hand to scrape off the excess dough with its straight edge. In the past, if I wanted to divide the dough, I would pull it apart with my hands. Using the straight edge makes a cleaner cut. I noticed that the description says that it can also be used to cut brownies. I can see where it would make a more accurate cut than a knife. I look forward to using it to cut some other bars that I make. This is a great little product at a very decent price.

This dough scraper is excellent. It is small, has a very comfortable handle, and a nice sharp scraping and cutting edge. It is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. I would get this one again when I need to replace this one. Nice one!

Yes, this is a pastry scraper. No, that's not how I use it. I use this scraper to burnish large areas of the crafts I'm working on, but the principles of using it are still the same. It's a good hard plastic that is not going to bend or break. It's going to get the job done whether scraping dough or burnishing paper. The bottom of the scraper has measurements, centimeters on one side and inches on the other. The problem I do have with is that the handle is not so comfortable. A little better molding, maybe, would have made it easier to hold, but really, that's just a nitpick on my part.

I actually got this to use not for dough, but the for pan scraper aspect. The silicone side works well for getting into the corners of my non-stick skillet, and you can maneuver it around to match the contour of your skillet side. The hard plastic side I am using to scrape my cast iron griddle and skillet. After letting the cast iron cool for a bit, it works well to scrape the stuck bits right off. I prefer this to a metal scraper, as I've had a metal scraper remove some of the seasoning before, which is a huge pain. So, as a versatile pan scraper, this thing works great!
