This stainless steel dough blender seems to be pretty well made, of a nice weight. My hand across my fingers measures about 2.75 inches and it just fits to hold this blender. It would be perfect for people with smallish hands; I consider my hands to be small to medium. Would not work well if you have large hands. The sides (where your hand touches) are just a little sharp, enough that I noticed, but not a huge deal, just have to be aware. It seems to be durable, and the handle is attached using a screw, so should be able to tighten if it would become loose, unlike some that are just riveted.
