Perfect fit.. slide it over the pipe with the hole in it (a break actually) then stick the other half up in with the break in the middle- tighten it down and GOOD AS NEW... Lasted well over a year-- vibration and all-- and in silence. Passed the inspection with this. I'm on 1/2 the SS income I should have had due to retiring early and couldn't afford to replace the whole system for around $700 at the time.. THIS was a very economical- GREAT way to fix it-- and WORKS wonderfully well.

Repaired my exhaust system and it worked perfectly. Seems well made and solved my problem for a very reasonable cost.

These are amazing , used the High heat muffler tape for both but ends then slid these over the seam and tightened down , use your jack to keep it up in place , after a few miles of heat , retighten the bolts , but sealed those seams like it was a straight pipe ! Awesome style and performance.

My son's 1997 Ford Aerostar Exhaust system had become loud because of a leak between the muffler and the Catalytic converter. When the leak was found it was clear that the pipe had rusted all the way through and only held up by an original welded hanger. To install this sleeve, I needed to cut out the old hanger that was welded to the pipe by Ford. After the cut was made, this sleeve made the repair easy. I simply pulled the two sides together inside the sleeve, tightened and we were done. I installed a new hanger to give more stability. A couple weeks after the repair, we are still having no issues.
