I do a lot of plasma cut metal art using mostly aluminum. Regular aluminum oxide and zirconia flap discs clog up and stop cutting too quickly, but these ceramic grit discs seem to run cooler and last a lot longer. I used to buy the cheapest discs I could find because I would have to replace them so often, but I really like these and the price is great as well. I do wish they offered a 120 grit option, but I can get by without it. If you're looking for a good quality ceramic flap disc, I recommend giving these a try!

Good quality sanding discs for metal and other materials. 40 grit. Holds up well for this price point. I like it and would buy it again.

CONS: Wear.PROS: Cost.Additional Thoughts: For about $3 per disc, I figured I would give these a try. I use this type of flap disc to sharpen my lawn mower blades but had a different job to test these out on. My metal door for my chickens broke and I needed to fix it. I used this flap disc to shape the metal so the door would fit properly. I ground down just a little bit of (I think its aluminum) metal and there was quite a bit of wear on the disc. Included are pictures of the disc and metal piece before and after. The disc did the job but I think it wore down more than it should have. I'm curious how long the disc will last when I use them on mower blades but I won't be sharpening blades for a couple more months because they will rust quickly when not used.LovingTheRetiredLife

Finally got around to giving these a try and they pretty much work as expected. Nice quality and fit perfectly onto my Dewalt angle grinder. Little pricey but you get a fair amount of them and as long as you aren't doing too heavy of a job, they should last a decent amount.

These flap disc work very good at removing whatever your trying to get through. They fit my Ryobi grinders well. I will purchase again when I run through this 10 pack. Great buy!
