The product worked and is doing fine. Just be prepared to put in some work to get the darn thing installed. Yeesh. Renegades do not come apart like Wranglers, unfortunately. Look up a how-to video before starting. You'll thank yourself.

I am an automotive technician not some homeowner idiot that installed this high mount brake lamp. These are not easily accessible. You have to disassemble half the tailgate on a jeep renegade to install this after tearing everything apart and installing a light it worked three times and then did not work again checked all the connections and found that the actual terminals inside the light housing fell apart and fell inside the light!DO NOT BUY THIS CHINESE GARBAGE LAMP!!!!!

The third brake light on my wife's Renegade simply fell apart one day. This was much cheaper than the OEM unit. The installation is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to check out some tutorials online before attempting.My only real complaint is that the pins inside the connector are very thin. I accidentally bent one while plugging it in. It was a pain to straighten back out. But everything seems to be working properly.

Exact fit! Looks to be about same quality as original. If you haven’t replaced one before,there’s a lot to replacing, remove inside door panel to, remove outside trim panel to,access and replace light itself. My original light didn’t fail. It was the red lens that came off at the seam. Just some info for the DIYer’s.Troy
