I thought this product was a really great idea. However the tool broke almost immedately. The gears stripped inside the tool. The gears for the chuck did not mesh at all with any of my drills or drill press. This was a complete waste of money. I'm very dissapointed.

I’m not sure why some of the other reviews show pictures of this tool broken. If used properly using moderate, even pressure in all three chuck holes instead of just one, it does a great job! Could it be that some of the negative reviews are from those that ordered this because they also broke the original one that came with their drill? It's got great leverage so you really don’t need to get brutal with it.If you’re really worried about breaking a chuck key, watch some YouTube videos on how professionals tighten a chuck. I love this thing!

Unfortunately this did not fit my 1/2 chuck on my Central Machinery 3-in-1 Lathe, Drilling and Milling Machine, but may work with several other chucks I have, but not tried them all yet.First off, something not mentioned anywhere here yet, is the Chuck Key is made of Steel. Lists material as Aluminum, which would describe the handle portion, but a magnet proves the Chuck Keys are ferrous, meaning contains iron or steel. I have purchased several of those 4-way chuck keys that even said made with steel, but were actually aluminum and would not attract to a magnet. I was wondering if this was another one of those cheapies with Aluminum keys since others said how easy they broke, but being steel or at least ferrous, it may last better if I take it easy and do not over torque the chuck as others may have done. In Industrial Service College we were taught to tighten a little using all 3 holes of the chuck as suggested elsewhere here.If this fits some of my other chucks, it may be worth the investment, just too bad it did not fit my Central Machinery 1/2 chuck which appears to be common size with some other chucks I have. Photos above did list chuck key sizes, but without knowing the size of my 1/2 chuck, I could only guess it might work.I have yet to find a real quality 4-way chuck that is made of real steel and not aluminum. Sure there are some out there, but for now have to keep using a single chuck key that fits my Central Machinery 1/2 chuck of which I have more than one of those singles that are all the same size.Will keep looking and hope I will find a better chuck key that fits my machine, but stuck with the ones I already have.

I hate the hand tighten chucks that come with the cordless drills so I place them with a real Jacobs chuck. This key works perfectly and because of it's length you can really get a tight bite on a drill bit. No slipping.

Compré el producto para tener una mejor soporte al liberar la broca del taladro, pero al intentar quitar la primer broca los dientes de la llave se rompieron, el producto es de pésima calidad y estoy muy inconforme con esta compra, saludos
