This is definitely worth the price difference. I had the simple rubber flap before and it had gotten too soft and caused a 160.00 water bill because it never shut off completely. When this came ..took off the old flap. This one just snaps right on. My next bill was only 40.00!!! Amazing improvement!

This is a pretty unusual part that I could not find in any local hardware stores. After installation, the product worked great. The older flapper would often stick in the upwards position allowing water to continue to drain out of the tank. The older one would also come dislodged from the hinge and not seal properly, causing the toilet to run every few minutes. This product worked as advertised and fit exactly as the original.

This flapper fit our toilet perfectly and immediately stopped the slow leak the old flapper allowed. Installation was easy and took less than 5 minutes.

Had to replace mine and this was so much better than what I had before. Only annoying part is I had to YouTube how to change the water because it’s super confusing from the packaging. I still think there should be a way easier way

My old toilet flapper had warped over time, and our toilet tank had started refilling almost constantly due to the failed seal. The rigid structure to the flapper means it won’t warp over time like the cheap rubber one that came with my toilet. It stopped the problem immediately upon installation. Installing and adjusting this new flapper is also MUCH easier than the old one, because the piece that fastens to the lever is a much more practical design.The “bulb†is really interesting as well; you can turn it to let in more or less water, which causes it to float longer or sink faster, thereby closing the drain slower or faster, depending on how much water you want to use or how strong of a flush you want. I chose to keep it all the way closed, so it stays full of air and floats on top of the water as it drains down. This causes almost the entire tank to drain before the flapper closes. I did test it with the bulb at different levels and it makes a BIG difference in how quick it closes and how much water gets used, but the toilet I was installing this on has issues flushing sometimes, so a stronger and more consistent flush is part of what I was looking for.Pros:• Works great• Won’t warp over time• Adjustable water-saving feature• Easy to install and adjustCons:• A bit more expensive than some of the other options.I needed two new flappers, but chose to only buy one to make sure it worked. Despite it being more expensive, it was so easy to install and fixed my problem so immediately that I came back and bought the same one the next day.

Packaging says that it fits Koehler.It did not work with my Koehler… I had to make modifications so that it would seal properly. Now it works fine.

We spent over $200 to have one of our Toto toilets repaired. It needed a new flapper. I watched the plumber do it, and knowing we had another toilet in the house needing repair, I looked up the FLAPPER here on Amazon, and to make a long story short, I am now a PLUMBER!!! I repaired the second toilet like new for under $15! This item is PERFECT and I saved enough money to take my wife out for an expensive dinner AND go to the bathroom when we get home!
