I put it on a makeshift rain barrel in our orchard and it worked really well and cannot wait to see it action for the whole summer next year. A real time saver and a helper when watering our fruit trees.

I am so happy I put off making my rain barrels until I ordered this specific kit. The kits I owned before this are made of plastic. Plastic works well for many situations, but when it comes to something like a rain barrel, metal is the way to go in my opinion.This kit comes with everything you need to install into a barrel of your choice... besides the barrel and a drill and bit of course.Everything included in this kit is made of stronger stuff compared to most rain spigot kits.I recommend this above all others. Every household needs a backup water source...this includes you BTW!

Besides this spigot being high quality stainless steel the installation kit that comes with it is complete. Included is a shoestring thickness string in this kit. What's it for? Well they thought to add a "trick" (of tips and tricks of the trade). The trick helps with barrels that do not have a fully open top. The string guides the fitting to the hole the spigot needs to connect to. Excellent.I'm changing out a leaking crummy spigot. The rain barrel is slimy/scummy and I don't feel like playing in the barrel, so, I'm using the string method to avoid that :) And my arms are only so long to reach the hole. (I remember when I set them up years ago...)I recommended.

This will replace our corroding one to attach to an older rain barrel. It comes with everything you need, and I think it should work out great.

I've had trouble finding valves like this in the big box stores with the large flat sealing surface this one has. If I ever did the cost wasn't practical. A typical valve/spigot is limited in sealing to the threads. Not this one.This has a large seat, sealing surface, for a good seal.The flow is good and the valve is easy to operate but snug and seals good.Great product. Great value.

This is completely made out of stainless steel which I prefer over brass since there's no lead in there. The ball valve operates smoothly and and feels very heavy duty. The bulkhead fittings are reverse threaded, which I don't know if it really makes a difference but they are well made also. The only minor complaint I have is I would have preferred the gaskets to be made out of silicone instead of rubber but they work just fine.

We got this to add a fourth barrel to our rain barrels. Between our greenhouses and the food plots, we are expanding our water system.The True Full Port Rain Barrel Spigot Kit is a high quality, all stainless steel spigot and all parts needed to install it. The Included string to install the inside fitting was a nice touch.The ball valve opens and closes smoothly. All the threads were well machined, and they fit together very well.This is a five star product and highly recommended.
