One of the housing components from my five-stage RO system was leaking. I only required the bottom housing that houses the filter, but the thread pitch was not identical to the older part, leaving me with no choice but to replace the entire housing unit. Fortunately, I have two different housing wrenches, which enabled me to successfully tighten the housing. Once connected, there were no more leaks, and my RO system was operational once again. Will order again.

My RO system sprung a leak in the filter housing. I got this to just replace the housing. AMAZON warned that this is a frequently returned item. YES, IT DOES NOT FIT!!!There is a visible difference in the appearance of these housings. One has female threads and a single O-ring. The other style has male threads and two O-rings! Visibly, the difference is the female threaded housing is the same diameter as the cap. The male threaded housing is SMALLER than the cap. Once you recognize the difference in housings it's easy to pick the right one.Pay attention, order the right housing. Amazon should require more detailed photos on their listings.

I like that it is the perfect fit, as advertised. Also, comes with both the bottom and top. I only needed the bottom since my cracked and started leaking. I now also have a spare top in case any of those develop any problems. Great price. Love the Amazon quick delivery.

Repaired my apec roes 75 water leak.I had this style cannister and needed to repair a leak. Once replaced, no more leak.

Looks and fits just like the original filter house and cap for the Apec Essence RO system. My old housing had a slight leak even with new o-rings. This one came with a lubed o-ring already and works perfect. Not sure if I torqued the one one too much and stressed the cap too much. You really don't need to screw them on too tight.The old fittings fit perfect in it as well.

It looked the same as my filters housing on my osmosis filter system, but they are a little smaller on the thread size. I wanted to replace only the broken housing, but it did not screw in.I ordered 2 more and replaced all the 3 heads, and they fit perfectly with the existing screws on the metal plate, the heads are the same size, only the thread are smaller. It is a little more job, but now they are all new for a fraction of the cost.
