Summary: This is a basic, strong, far less expensive, no frills alternative to the very expensive gear racks I have always purchased. For me, this was Thule's business to lose, and they have lost this sale (and maybe future sales) to Hyperax. Most Favorite feature: Cost. Second favorite feature is the jog/bend in the main support bar that increases ground clearance. I once bent an expensive bicycle rim due to a very steep driveway with my previous hanging style rack due to insufficient ground clearance.Least Favorite feature: I am a bit embarrassed about not having a name-brand rack. Do the other adventurers look down on me? Does it cheapen the overall look of my fully loaded adventure vehicle? This rack isn't bad looking, and since I paid 1/3 or 1/4 of the big name rack price, I am okay with this! Who knows, someday maybe I will brag that I helped Hyperax take the dominant position in gear haulers!Initial product assembly was easy. I thought the instructions were poorly done, but if you are at least average mechanical aptitude, you can figure it out. Installation onto and off the vehicle is also easy. I was excited about the free promotional keychain that the lock keys were attached to...nice little bonus!A few examples of the more "basic" rack features of this rack:1. It uses velcro and buckle straps to attach the bike wheels to the rack. I might rather have integrated ratcheting tie downs for the wheels.2. It uses hand-tightened knobs to push down the vertical support hooks and hold the bikes down on the rack. I might rather have ratchet fasteners on these hooks.3. The pin that holds the vertical post in place is a basic safety pin used with trailers. If you're not paying attention, you could forget to install this pin and lose your bikes off the back (true story...read all the other reviews for this product to find the guy that did this, and shared his bonehead move, so the rest of us won't do this).4. Spring loaded push pins hold the rack up for storage and/or when not in use on the car. I might have preferred some levers or other more impressive fasteners for this function.5. It might be nice to have integrated wheels to move this rack around the garage, or more impressive hooks to hang it on the wallBottom line: this rack is exactly what it appears to be - a lower cost alternative to the big name racks that isn't as impressive looking, but is nice-enough looking and gets the job done safely and effectively.

Great bike rack for the money. Safe and strong for 2 bikes. I drove 1,000 mi round trip with two e-bikes on this rack. I had the rack hooked onto my SUV through a 2-in trailer hitch. Assembly is not too difficult. But just like anything else loading and unloading the bikes from the bike rack don't be in a hurry take your time and make sure that you have your bikes secured on the rack properly and it will work with no trouble. This is a tilting bike rack. And you have to make sure that you put the pin in the bottom of the hitch rail so the rack does not tip over. That's probably the Achilles heel to this type of rack or maybe any type of rack. You just have to make sure you double check everything that the bikes are on strong and the pin is in the hitch so the bikes don't tip back. But overall it's a really good value. If you have trouble lifting your bikes off the ground and have weak upper body strength then this bike rack may not work for you. You may want to consider a bike rack that tips down to ground level or somehow is lowered to ground level.Overall is a good value.

Good sturdy product, I only have two complaints with it. First, the part that goes into the receiver has to be bolted in each time, the hole going through that part is too small for a normal hitch pin, so it has to be screwed in and bolted each time. Would have been nice to be able to use my regular locking hitch pin with it. Second, main unit attaches to the hitch insert in 2 places. Back hole is a pull out clip to attach, but the front hole is again a bolt and locking nut that needs to be unscrewed if you want to take it apart. I don't have the room to leave it all connected, so I have to take the bolt out each time and that will eventually wear out the locking nut. It would be nice to have an option to use a pin going through with a lock at the end similar to just a regular hitch. For a long trip or vacation, the set up and parts are excellent, but for the occasional day trip, a bit annoying. However, still a good product and am overall happy it.

This is a really nice and well built hitch mount. For the money, I think it’s the best bang for buck. All the components are heavy duty and nothing feels flimsy or cheap. The handle is nice for when you remove/install on the vehicle and also has a hook to hang it on the wall when not in use and it’s folded up. Comes with the hitch pin lock and the anti vibration brace that clamps it to the hitch receiver. Using with a 57lb e-bike and it works fantastic. I would buy this again.

I don't write many reviews, but was so impressed by this bike rack that I am compelled to write this one. I bought this to carry two hybrid/road bikes weighing about 30lbs each. The rack is much sturdier than I anticipated and the design of the adjustable parts is well thought out to prevent wobbling which seams to be the number one complaint that inexpensive racks suffer from. Further, all of the tolerances are tight which makes assembly slightly more difficult, but again, this is a plus to keep the rack parts from wobbling. The finish quality is also excellent and the tilt away and fold-up features are well executed. For the value I received, I really have no room to complain about anything, but I will pick on the plastic carrying handle which feels a bit week for the job. Overall, I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

We carried two Rad Power E bikes with no problems it’s sturdy. The tires fit great. I’m 5’2†and it was a little difficult but I could get my bike on and off. The locking clamps is a really great security feature and made me very comfortable leaving my bike.

Went together quite easily. Put the bike on yesterday and went to a bike shop where even the bike shop said that's not a bad bike rack, much cheaper than what they could supply. Once the bike was all tied down and locked in place it didn't move a bit. I read reports saying bikes falling off etc and I can see why. Follow the instructions and tie down exactly as they say, do not cut corners and always remember to put the pins back in place. I think our friends who had there bikes fall off forgot to replace their pins. As they say "it does the job"

Good surprise to see such quality at this price point.

The wheel braces are not strong enough to hold a 30kg e-bike without sagging and becoming unsafe while on a trip in the car.It is a good product, but not as advertised as being strong enough and I only have one ebike and my kids normal bike.

First thing to get out of the way - the instructions to assemble this rack are not the best. Nice, colour pictures that don't explain much. After I was done assembling, I found a YouTube video with a great overview of assembly.Instructions aside, the rack itself is great. Sturdy, easy to install and holds our two heavy EBikes properly. I love the swing-down centre post that allows the first bike to be lifted easily onto the rack. Also a big fan of the tilt-down feature that allows us to open the hatch of our Hyundai Tucson without removing the bike. The locks are probably only enough to keep the honest people from stealing both the rack itself and the bikes on it, but still an appreciated feature.Overall, a very good product at a surprisingly affordable price.

Bike rack is much better than I expected. Can handle 2 electric bikes with no issues. I like the fact that it has built in locks to secure the bikes and another lock for the hitch using the same key. Well made, definitely worth the money I would recommend it!
