The DX storm door pull handle with backplate and locking inside latch set complements a wide range of decor styles. This elegant and easy-to-operate handle can replace a push-button handle that may be on your screen door. The interior latch features an easy-open push movement and features a thumb style lock or night latch which allows the storm door to be locked from the inside. For added security, an add-on deadbolt (SK5) and a keyed deadlock (SK703) are available. This handle will replace all storm and screen door handles that have 1-3/4 in. distance between the screw posts. The set will fit storm doors or screen doors 1 in to 2-1/8 in thick. You may need to drill one small hole on the outside face of the door to secure the backplate.

The handle on our screen door had seen better days and it was time to replace it. I looked on Amazon and found several that I liked, but when I saw this particular one, I thought it would look best. The price was right within my budget, so I gave it a shot.It arrived nicely packaged with a bunch of different length screws and I remembered that the description said it would accommodate several different depths of doors. I looked at the directions; the diagrams and instructions were clear and easy to understand. Within about ten minutes of starting the installation, I was done!The handle not only looks good, but it works well too!! The door locking mechanism is simple and secures the door well. The operation of the door handle is quiet and allows the door to shut securely without needing any assistance. You get what you paid for. Plus with all the different fastener lengths - it wasnt difficult to fit it to the thickness of the door. Nice Product 👍🏻👍🏻

Overall it wasn’t bad for the price it looks good, was fairly simple to install. However, sometimes the latch sticks and it doesn’t close or sometimes the lock toggles over and you get locked out. For a deck door it works ok but just be aware you may get locked out.

I love the simplicity of the item and how well it fits with the storm door. I tried another companies and it was the wrong size, this one fits thicker door sizes and I was finally able to replace my broken handle. It gives a great matte appearance and feels great. All in all, 10/10 would recommend.

This was a great product to replace my broken handle on my screen door. Fit perfectly on all the main standard holes already drilled in the door. I did have to drill a small hole for the optional back plate for the outside handle. My door had a different size one without the bottom screw. It was very easy to install and opens much easier than our previous handle! This is not a paid review I really am that pleased with the product. Calgary, Alberta

I like this part because it was straightforward, easy to install using different hardware that was included in packaging if needed. The brass finish looks nice and shiny. I wish the inside latch was the same but its painted but still looks ok cause on inside of my storm door.

I already have to replace this. The bolt threads were bad so it didn’t stay installed securely and just snapped after 3 months use.
