This was the perfect solution for hanging our new exterior lights. They don't have a large base to connect to the house so they were wobbly. These tightened them up and gave a nice polished finish to them.

My only complaint is wishing extra screws were included. It only comes with 2 of each and installing outdoors I dropped my screws repeatedly. I wished I had extras to save me from going up and down the ladder and searching the garden for my dropped screws.
