Product Description

3-in-1 Diamond Grinding Wheels - Grind, Cut and Undercut with One Wheel!

Now You Can Go Where No Wheel Has Gone Before!

The IPA 3-in-1 Diamond Grinding Wheels are superior to traditional wheels in virtually every aspect. Offered in three diameters - 2”, 3” and 4.5” - they are faster, safer, more versatile, easier to use, and save money over time. And while the 4.5” model can be compared to competing traditional grinding wheels, the 2” and 3” are completely new to the industry and have no rival. There is no other product on the market that offers grinding performance with the access of these wheels. The three-dimensional, core bonded, brazed-diamond coating allows for not only grinding, but cutting and uncercutting all with the same wheel. No more swapping out tools to finish a job. In addition to their performance, the fact that they can be used on traditional straight and right angle die grinders means that for the first time you can grind one handed in hard-to-access areas.

Superior Performance and Longer Life

Unlike traditional diamond grinding wheels and saw blades, the IPA 3-in-1 Diamond Grinding Wheels do not use diamond segments. Instead, they are made from a machined steel wheel which goes through a special IPA-innovated core bonding brazing process, whereby industrial diamonds are permanently bonded directly to the surface. These diamonds are 20-60 times harder than any of the Aluminum Oxide, Silicon or other materials used to make traditional grinding wheels.

Due to this core bonding brazing technology, our diamond grinding wheels do not shed material during use, will never break apart, and stay the exact same size throughout their liftetime. A close inspection of the diamond grinding wheel's surface reveals it is comprised of thousands of small diamonds. As the wheel is used, the diamonds wear down very slowly, and their edges fracture. On a microscopic level, when a diamond edge fractures, it is uneven, leaving a new abrasive edge. This helps slow the decline in abrasive performance as the wheel is used and provides consistent performance each time.

Functionality Plus Versatility

Our core bonded brazed-diamond wheels have a diamond-abrasive coating on three surfaces – face, edge, and topside. This allows them to be used for grinding, cutting and undercutting without breaking or losing their size. And since our grinding wheels do not break apart, you will observe significantly fewer sparks, virtually no odor, and a lot less airborne debris. In fact, the only airborne debris will be that of whatever material you are grinding.

IPA 3-in-1 Diamond Grinding Wheels will save you money over time due to their long life. They will also save additional costs by limiting downtime and interruptions to workflow. No longer will you have to stop what you are doing and swap out wheels to get a different angle.

There was a problem, but the seller fixed it.I used it I'd say for a full 15-20 minutes during one hour. It worked great, and at the end there were no signs of wear.Maybe most of all, at 10K RPM I'm much more confident with this wheel than I have been with the aluminum oxyde ones or similar.

Used the 3" to plunge cut, undercut, and grind concrete flush. Still going strong after several dozen feet. Would buy again, but may not have to based on the wear rate. Good find. IPA should make an oscillating tool blade with this technology.

if used as a grinding wheel it works great, it is aggressive. If used like a cutoff wheel it is hard to control for smooth cut, I believe because of it's aggressive design, it also cuts a wide cut because of it's thickness

I got this 3" wheel to flush cut tile under cabinets set on top of tile. The goal is to lay vinyl plank flooring up to the cabinet and hide the cut with base shoe molding. I used this wheel and a die grinder to make about 15 feet of cut without any problem. The wheel still looks as new and eats through tile quickly.

Front door had a metal plate on sill which had slightly buckled making door very difficult to open/close - used the grinding wheel for about 15 minutes on plate bulge and door worked like new - very happy with this wheel

Buy the 2 inch instead of the 3 inch!! The 3-inch utilizes a sprue to hold the grinding wheel onto a mandrel, no matter how hard you crank down on that screw when you let off the trigger it comes out in the grinding wheel flies across the room at whatever it happens to hit

Worked great to cut down a pinch weld in my wheel well to clearance for larger wheels. Held up and is ready to go for the next project

This wheel works great, good value - have put many 10's of hours of use on it and it still performs well. The leading edge is getting a bit dull, but still cuts acceptably. Have cut everything from plastic, fiberglass, low carbon steel, high carbon steel ( 3/4" diameter coil springs), stainless, titanium, aluminum I like the diamond surface across the full front and that it rolls over the back edge - very useful feature for getting hard to reach areas.Only downside is that the wheel base material is too thin and it ultimately fatigued and broke (at speed!). Would be a 5 star rating if this safety issue hadn't happened.Good value, but I'd rather spend a few more $$ to get a better built one that will last longer.
