Our furnace is going on 14 years of service. Our unit was starting to make some noise and the local HVAC guy tried telling me it would cost $1000 to fix as the part is "hard to come by" and "difficult to install". I promptly rolled my eyes and bet him $100 I could find it myself. Sure enough right here on Amazon for 1/3 the price. Install was a breeze literally 4 screws, some hose clamps, and a couple electrical connections. This new unit has much softer motor mounts thus resulting in a MUCH quieter operating than our previous unit. Couldn't be happier!

Seller is misleading customers with OEM pictures while shipping draft inducer which is different than shown OEM product on Amazon. Seller’s draft inducer quality is unverifiable and product is different than on advertised picture. Seller’s product does not have certificate of origin or OEM certificate as acceptable replacement. Seller’s draft inducer is made of unverifiable materials and durability. Product has no label. Seller’s product came pre-assembled with motor dampers out of place and different then OEM electrical motor. There is no guarantee how long badly assembled product would preform during prolonged exposure to higher temperatures in the furnace. Seller’s draft inducer was poorly packaged with no paper work.

The fan is just waht I need for replacement. It fit and works great. I wish I could pay a little bit less for it.

Very fast standard shipping ( 3 days )... much thanks!! Got it installed today just in time before another round of freezing weather moves in tonight. Installed it myself and saved a bunch of money. Functions perfectly! When your furnace starts sounding like a garbage disposal when it starts up its time to buy one of these... don't do like I did and wait 2 weeks until the furnace stops running altogether.

Item was new and fit perfectly (1996 Carrier model 58MXA100-16), no more cold house! Clear instructions were included and youtube videos show installation details and tips. Item pictured was identical to what was received. Included clamps and grommets and motor capacitor.

True OEM replacement has an all-metal connection between the wheel and shaft.Typical cheap design which is intended to fail. Save yourself the hassle and order an OEM inducer. 20% up front will save you 200% and a load of time on the back end.The one upside is I'm now twice as proficient at installing inducers!

The inducer wheel had cracked and was wobbling inside the inducer assembly cause large rattle that could be heard throughout the house. Don't know if this is truly all OEM parts but it did the trick and the furnace purrs like a kitten at least for now. I did not bother trying to replace the wheel as the whole assembly is sealed and was able to save about $200 here vs. the local distributor anyway.

The assembly arrived undamaged and took less than an hour to swap out. My problem was that the old motor was worn out so this was an excellent replacement. Everything plugged in exactly as on the old unit and it fired up right away. Some things to keep in mind: you will need to re-use mounting screws and the rubber extra drain cover. It does not come with a new pressure switch. The foam seal for the intake is also not included. If the unit fails prematurely I will update this review.
