The steps to tuning a kalimba are very simple. First, you need to download a tuning app, such as Gstrings for Android and Instuner for IOS, and then you can use the tuning hammers to hit the bottom of the keys to raise the pitch and the top of the keys to lower the pitch.

Ordered this as a Christmas gift. My daughter was very happy with it. Seems to be very sturdy and sounds great. Instructions were included, as well as a storage bag and other needed items. Great purchase.

I ordered this to use at work, and I was very excited for it to arrive. When I unboxed it I was surprised at how pretty it looked. Its design and the materials used in its construction are very nice. It's not large, but its size seems suited to the instrument. The tone of the majority of the keys is very pretty, but a few of the very high notes sound terrible when played. I tried to tune it as described in the included booklet and it had no effect on its sound. which was disappointing. Overall, I think it is a nice option for anyone looking to express their feelings or create evocative music through sound.

The kalimba seems to be of good quality. I don't know how easy it will be for me to play it, but it is well worth the price.

The design and appearance of this instrument is beautiful. Construction is very good. It has a moderately bright sound. The plucking doesn't require much finger strength. Everything you need to play is within this package at a good price.

The size is about half a tablet. It has smooth wood with a neat design. The metal sticks that make the notes can sometimes be pushed out of place and pushed back into place. ThereΓ’β¬β’s some extra supplies for plucking and adjusting included.

This Kalimba is a fun thumb piano that's great for beginners. My teenage daughter loves it, and I have to say, the craftsmanship is beautiful! It sounds great, and I'm very impressed with the quality.I didn't experience any bad smell like another reviewer mentioned, which was a relief. ItΓ’β¬β’s been fun to listen to my daughter play it in our home.It makes a fantastic and unique gift for any young musician.
