Absolutely love the noise thing makes compared to the Takeda Momentum intake I had before. Everything goes together well. Just make sure to tighten, not too much, the PCV connector piece to the intake pipe. Only part that was a little off.

For $400 you cannot go wrong!If you drive a 6-speed then you’re in for a treat. The difference in responsiveness from the engine and the way shifting is so much smoother is amazing!The noise is definitely there. It sounds good. There’s a subtle “swift sound†kinda like a turbo when you give it gas, when it sucks the air in.I paired this mod with a cat-back exhaust, (apexi n1 dual tip) very nice, no drone.On top of that I get 36 MPG on the highway!

Easy to install? Maybe... fit the stock pipe that goes at the botton is not as easy as the manufacturer claim. After that those acceleration increased and better engine sound that the manufacturer claim will be only in your dreams.The stock sound of the corolla is more way better than the sound with this expensive piece, so if you are looking a better engine sound, just try with a cheaper option... And if you want a better performance, find another way... This is just a waste of time and money.And if you are outside USA and try to return this item because the Amazon Return Policy give you an hope that you can do that? just run away right now because that Return Policy of amazon is just smoke... They tell you that you must pay the shipping and at the end they will return only just $20 to cover the shipping cost knowing that an international shipping cost for something like this would cost almost the cost of the product per se...

Kit and instructions were straightforward. Took maybe 25-30 minutes. This is on a 6mt Corolla and man does it sound good! Pure valve train music 🎶

First, pictures. The instructions called for a cushion clamp to be installed directly onto the pipe. There was no screwhole welded on mine. So i did the next best thing and tightened it under one of the hose clamps. Still does the job. Potential for it to wiggle out with enough vibration of course, so not entirely happy about that.Other than that though, there is definitely a better noise. The car going into 2nd and beyond sounds deeper, more aggressive. Install was easy and smooth, and no errors reported. I'll monitor fuel usage as time goes. As far as a boost is concerned, I think people are getting a placebo effect, or they're very very sensitive to the change, because ~5hp isn't going to do a lot, and I can attest to that with first hand experience. That being said, throttle response is noticeably quicker.

Great intake over all, sounds very aggressive I would but it again. Due to the metal intake tubing this intake will have significantly higher idle temperature than stock but you can hardly notice it.

I have purchased many cheaper / eBay intakes in the past and never really had an issue. Now that I am older/ little more established, I decided to buy a name brand/higher end intake from K & N. This is my first experience with them and this is what I get. The NPT fitting only makes it into the aluminum pipe 2-3 turns. It doesn’t come close to even halfway, nevermind flush. I’m an engineer who deals with NPT fittings on a daily basis and this just isn’t correct. If I tighten this anymore, it will surely snap. Poor quality for such a pricey product from K&N. Very disappointed and haven’t heard back from customer service despite reaching out to various departments multiple times.

Me animé a pedirlo para mi Corolla SE 2020, motor 2.0, entiendo no es compatible con la version 1.8 lts.Trae todo lo necesario para instalarse, trae el escudo térmico qué a su vez es la base sobre la cual descansa el intake, dos uniones de goma, filtro, tornilleria, abrazaderas, empaque de hule, literal, no necesitas nada adicional, eso si, considero que es mejor ir con un mecánico de confianza y profesional. Este filtro es más que nada un aditamento estético, realmente no esperen la súper velocidad adicional, no es tan perceptible, lo que si deben esperar es abrir el cofre y encontrar un motor mas bello, look deportivo y robusto.Ahora la parte más importante es... El sonido, nada que ver con el original, si bien no estaba mal al pisar el pedal a fondo en modo sport, ahora si suena como coche de carreras, no necesitas ir rápido para notarlo, realmente si me sacó de onda al inicio porque si suena muy distinto, te da la impresión que te van a voltear a ver preguntando por qué suena asÃ, pero te acostumbras, creo que vale la pena, vuelve más divertido el carro, le da un look y nueva vox bastante robusta, vale la pena cada peso y bueno apenas lo instalaron y ningún sensor se ha prendido.
