Box joint design provides a stronger joint for increased leverage and a better grip on to the work piece. This 10 inch pliers provides up to a 2" working capcity. The handle is engineered with "pinch" free design to protect your hand from those painful blood blisters. Dual component , comfort grip handle, will allow the user to hold the tool in a more ergonomic correct position.

Self locking on pipes and nuts with no slipping on the work piece. The optimized jaw shape will grip round, square and hex shape materials. The box joint design is highly stable because of the double guide. The guard on the handle prevents the fingers being pinched as the handles are squeezed together. The 3 piece set will cover pipe capacities from 1-1/4" to 2".

I've had these for just about 4 years, and used them pretty hard over that time. I have not had any noticeable wear and they still work as well as when I got them. I have other brands but these are still the first pair I go for for anything in the house or for any auto work that I have planned out.Would buy them again if I have any issues, but I would be surprised if I need to.

Bought this to replace my 10" pipe wrench that was really heavy in my little tool box. Great choice. Has good handle grips and has a great bite on the piece you are engaging with the jaws. Slimmer width of the jaws means I can get into tighter spots. I like the way the pliers open, slide, then lock in place more than the way a channel lock does. Easier to open a little, slide, and then close again. Tried some push button type locks in a store and did not care for them much. Definitely worth the money.

I really like the feel and the utility of this pliers. You can quickly set and hold the size. I carry it all the time and my son who wonders why I do is forever saying, "Dad, can I use your pliers?' My dad was the best with a pliers and I'm so happy he taught me how to use them. The handles are rubberized for a great grip and I haven't pinched my hand with these. This is the 4th one I have. At least two others have fallen out while I in the field and never to be seen again. If I keep losing them be assured I'll keep replacing them with none other.

bought a new set since the last set is getting a little looser.it lasted for 10+ years so needles to say I'm very happy with them.don't think twice on good tools, buy once, cry once.

I put these in my plumbing bag, the quality of metal allows Knipex to use much lighter castings, the jaw opening allows me to securely grip three inch pipe, and the hinge design and teeth quality allow me to get a solid grip with almost no hand strength. I was able to preplace several different wrenches and take close to 10lbs out of my plumbing bag.I would happily buy these again. Knipex are pricy, but they consistently become my go-to tool when I add one into my job bag.

They are top quality, I just find the Cobra model to be slightly easier to use. I bought these for the times I needed a slimmer profile to fit in tight spots so they have their purpose but I still prefer the cobra most of the time

Feels a bit bulky in your hand but very nice set of gripping pliers. They take up more room in your pouch, but cannot beat their bite on whatever you want to turn. Definitely better than channel lock.The only issue I have found is that it takes a bit to move them in between sizes/grooves to set another size. But that helps in certain situations. I’ve had pliers that slip out of groove in the middle of use. These won’t do that. And k like that feature. Accuracy over speed any day for me

When it comes to any commercial or residential trade, having a set of adjustable or 'pump' pliers is so essential. And for 17 of my 19 years in plumbing and gas fitting, I have been a faithful channellock customer. And then I acquired my first set of knipex pliers, which were the standard 10" red handled ones as a gift from a fellow fitter and it changed things drastically for the better. They're just so much easier to handle and use to do anything from fastening fittings, to redirod of all sizes and even more. It has been love at first use with knipex products. I'll spend the little bit extra for the ergonomics and hardiness of them. I've just gotten my new set of 12" comfort grip knipex pliers today and they feel like I'll enjoy them immensely. There is a portion of my job where you have to quickly snub the red hot ends of copper pipe with a pair of pliers and I hate having to open my tens up while superheating metal with the other, so the 12" will make life easier. Channellock isn't even on the same page as I've had to reassemble mine many times. Knipex not once. They never fall apart
