Works like a charm moving pizza and bread loves in and out of the oven on our cast-iron stone. Usually a quick wipedown takes care of it; but if it gets too dirty, just disassemble it and throw the face-plate in the dishwasher.

We needed a new pizza peel and this is perfect! Fits a 16 inch pizza. The folding handle makes it so easy to store away in my sheet rack vs having to find a place to hang it. Very pleased

We make pizza on our Weber gas grill with a pizza stone. This is the only way to remove pizza from the stone. The pizza cutting tool works great. Best tools for pizza!

This Peel works great, heavy duty. Handle folds-up to allow for storage under the counter. Like any cooking tool, still takes up room. Would recommend to others

The title of the product starts with 16". This is very deceptive. It's 13"x15". You definitely cannot get a 16" or even 14" round pizza into an oven with this.If this size is sufficient for you, it's totally fine. The foldable handle makes it more compact and it feels sturdy enough.But if you buy this wanting to make anything bigger than 13" pizzas, you will be disappointed. I ended up keeping it as a secondary peel for getting pizzas *out* of the oven while having the next pizza built on my actual 16" peel. For that purpose, it works fine. Search for New Star Foodservice 50196 Aluminum Pizza Peel for a true 16" pizza peel... but beware, it's huge and the handle doesn't fold.

I received an Ooni pizza oven for Christmas and added this pizza peel. Pizza easily slides off this peel into the new oven, clean up was super quick and I love that it folds up to fit into a kitchen drawer.

Bought as a gift, however, noticed it was well made and easily stored due to a retractable handle. Not stainless but brushed aluminum. hick enough to handle a very large pizza. I would recommend this product.

I looked online for a while to find a good pizza peel and made sure to check the size on this to see if it would be good for what I needed. We made lots of pizzas with them (not huge ones), and the paddle was so great!! So good to be able to use this to lift it off the stone instead of trying to use a spatula of some sort. That would be so much harder. This also came with the cutter, so it was even better! I love how you can store it away as well. So compact!

I make pizza in our convection oven at 500F so a compact peel is what I required.This peel works great but the pizza will stick if I use all purpose flour while trying to slide the peel under the finished pizzas. I now use semolina flour to spread out the dough balls on the counter and on the peel before quickly sliding it under the finished pizzas I found that this worked best for me (not sure why but it does).I like the swivelling handle as I store it in our proofing container. I was worried that the locking mechanism could fail but shallow rabbit in wood handle has been sturdy and the big aluminum knob locks it down tightly.I found the pizza cutter a little flimsy and dull. I was thinking of sharpening it but I tried kitchen scissors and prefer this method now (just ordered the Dreamfarm Scizza). I think mine also came with a small silicone pastry brush that I haven’t used yet.The product description needs be cleaned as the size stated reflects the length not width of the peel and obviously wood and aluminum do not survive in the dishwasher. This is clarified in various parts of the description/pictures but the contradictory statements causeconfusion nonetheless.
