These clamps are strong. They feel like they will hold up. I’m happy with the purchase. As others have pointed out, they don’t open to 3†inside the jaws. I noticed while confirming this that the measurement outside the jaws while fully open is 3â€. Obviously not the useful measurement for the tool, but also could just be a mistake(?)Second, the tips and grips do slide off. This is fixed cheaply, quickly and easily. Take the grip off. Put a drop of super glue in a spot similar to the picture. Slide the grip back on making sure to keep it from contacting the drop until it is about half on. Then let it drag the glue drop while you push it the rest of the way. Rub the area lightly to help it spread but not squish out. Repeat for the other 3 parts. I just did it. It took 10 minutes for the set of 12. Grips don’t budge now. I’ll update if they don’t hold up. Enjoy.

I really like the strength of the clamps. The rubber tips and handle covers are nice but fall off easily. I didn’t have any superglue when I went camping but will definitely glue the tips that I was able to find on and see if that helps. Great buy for the price

The only thing I dislike is the tips come off too easily, other than that they are great so far! They are used to hold sandwiched material together for quilting on a 6 ft. table so I don't have to get on my hands and knees on the floor! The table is a little wide at it's edges so the clamps need to open wide. Plastics breaks at the joints after a year so I went with metal this time! Hopefully these will last longer than a year!

I got these to hold fabric to a batik frame. They are very difficult to open all the way unless you have very strong hands, but once they are on, they work beautifully. I now can batik and have these clamps, which are very large, hold my fabric in place. I do need help placing them because my hands are old and weak. I am happy with my purchase of these very strong clamps. If you are an artist these are for you but you may need assistance putting them on.

I use them on a 21' above ground pool cover every year. Use three per top panel. Work great. Time saving too. Very strong grip. Have never had any come off in high wind. Use them for all sorts of stuff like clamping wood when gluing, etc.

Better spring tension than most. Repeat purchase. Blue rubber caps tend to come off but a drop of glue solves the problem.

The little blue tips fall off. I wrapped electrical tape around the metal and placed the tips back on over the tape, and they haven’t fallen off again.I recommend them if you are willing to do a little bit of extra work to make them perfect.

En general me gustaron bastante, se ve que el material es resistente y tienen un buen agarre. Los uso ocasionalmente para agarrar una lona y van perfecto.

Las pinzas son de muy buen tamaño y tienen un agarre fuerte. El único detalle que les veo es que las capuchas de silicón se caen con bastante facilidad. También las he estado usando en el exterior y no he notado signos de oxidación.
