I have used this stuff on multiple handguns and rifles and it works very well

I've used multiple other gun cleaning products. This one by far is the best for the following reasons:1. It's goes on well and is thick enough to not be too much of a mess.2. It clings to the metal well.3. It has a higher melting point than other gun grease I've used. Other ones melt at around 300 degrees and then they evaporate off the gun. This one has a melting point of 560 degrees, so it lasts much longer and keeps the gun lunricated.4. It has the same high quality as the Lucas Car Oil lines.5. It lubricates well without gumming up.I really haven't seen any downside to this product. I've got experience with multiple other brands, and this is the best I've tried.

Very useful on both striker fired pistols and shotguns. I definitely will always have this on hand!

Most other greases I've used get flung off the gears and end up not doing much. This stuff stays put pretty good.

I bought this for my AR15 since my Lucas brand oil wasn’t gona cut it for AR bolts and moving parts. Hard to compare it to anything since it’s my first, but I have had great luck with this brands gun oil and so far it definitely helps the bolt action feel smoother and less stiff. Seems to stay put on the applied places pretty well too. Does have a blue color just fyi.

Was recently gifted a S&W 686 Plus that had been my FIL's. Removed side cover and did some cleaning, a little of this and the action feels amazing

It was thicker than I thought it would be but it seems to work well. Sticks to whatever you put on it. Very slippery, and I actually now prefer it over the Hoppe's oil I've been using in the past. Maybe in the future I'd like to see lucas come out with a slightly lighter grease, just because this one is very thick. I can't think of a good comparison to its thickness/viscosity. Don't judged me for this comparison, but its probably just a little thicker than bacon grease thats cooled enough to solidify. Lucas being primarily an automotive oil company, the lube smells like an automotive garage. I don't mean the auto garage in a sketchy area of town that smells like sweat, cheap soap, and questionable carne asada. I mean that good, clean high end car dealership automotive garage. If you don't know what that smells like, it's an oddly comforting smell and you'll know exactly what that smells like if you wind up getting this. If you're a car guy you'll love it.

I have testing this with 3 other "firearm" grease brands. This is by far the best! I use it on my suppressor threads and muzzle device threads. I also us on some bolt guns and this stuff is tacky and we'll worth the money. I sold for life on Lucas oil and grease!
