Been running this on my jet boat for 3 years now just now had the coil in the cap fail, but for the price and abuse at constant high rpm I put it through I can't complain

Looks like a great idea to get away from a points style ignition system, but unfortunately fitment was a problem needed a lot of grinding to make it fit. The gear and oil pump shaft socket was also machined badly but then again you get what you pay for. I would recommend buying it . On top of all that it did not work correctly and was making car run very bad.

This all in one general motor style HEI ignition is much simpler to diagnose and service than stock ignition $600 I did have to shave the casing down just a little bit to get it to clear my thermostat housing Very good quality and very very good price

This is the second distributor I've bought from this company. The first one , I installed it in a 1981 ford 302 and it's been 4 years and it's been very reliable. This one I installed in a 1976 mercury cougar, 400ci. Started right up and cleared a misfire I had from the 45 year old factory distributor. Great product and extremely affordable.
