Used for a shutoff valve at an air compressor. Works well and no complaints. Seems to hold the air back without issue.

The two-star Wrong Treading [SIC] review posted December 28, 2022 should be ignored. The threads are correctly cut at 14 threads per inch using the National Pipe Taper. As pointed out in another review, the handle position can be reversed for installation accommodation - excellent design.

It worked for the project I was working on. An electric water heater. Soldered in well no leaks and valve turns easy.Would buy again if I needed it

I needed a on-off valve for my gas meter. I thought these would work but my contractor said no. Label needs to say “For Gasâ€.Nevertheless, I returned the product but quality felt great. Solid, heavy fixture.
