Your cart is empty.The New Metro Design Pouring Chute with laser etched ‘Grandma’s Kitchen’ saying effortlessly directs ingredients into the stand mixer and not on the counter. Our patented design aims dry or wet ingredients to the center of your stand mixer bowl for more efficient and thorough mixing. Unlike plastic versions, our replacement pouring shield is stainless steel and polished to ensure baking ingredients don’t stick and do slide easily into the stand mixer. Using our pouring chute adds an extra layer of protection, keeping fingers away from the spinning blade. The Pouring Chute fits most KitchenAid stainless steel stand mixer bowls. This pouring chute WILL NOT work with stand mixers with glass mixer bowls (we have a different pouring shield for these!!) and WILL NOT work with KitchenAid 6000 Series stand mixers with a tulip bowl. The Pouring Chute is made from high grade surgical stainless steel, it will not bend during the most rigorous use. Dishwasher safe, for quick and easy clean up. I have been back and forth for a while about getting something like this to minimize waste when pouring and adding to the stand mixer. The functionality, and durability are second to none. The size, and design are great, and the value for the money is a definite bargain.

...but it doesn't lock in place on the bowl. It easily falls off if it is hit or bumped. But I like that I can pour my ingredients into the bowl easier. It's more convenient than having to stop the mixer. It's also easier than the bowl shield with the chute that came with my Farberware mixer.

This is a really nice addition to any stand mixer bowl. Quite a substantial item. I have a Kitchenaid artisan and its fits perfectly on the bowl.Kitchenaid have really missed a trick by supplying an awful plastic item which never fits properly and sometimes falls towards the bowl.

What a cool tool! I’m not a very accomplished baker, but this simple tool made things go way easier than what I’m used to. No more flour…or worse…icing sugar flying everywhere!! This would make a great gift. It’s made out of stainless steel and is extremely sturdy. Very easy to clean as well. I highly recommend this.
