I used these to make a pair of customized mailboxes for a Harry Potter themed camp in my area. I love the quality of the brass. It's a lot thicker than a lot of the other pressed brass products you see on the market. Definitely a good purchase. Looks terrific!

As you can see, my old brass mail drop actually surfaced rusted. That's expected from a cheap door.As you might be able to make out from the other picture, the new inside door flap has a prominent lip along the whole door bottom, while the old does not. So now, the mail gets caught on the lip and the mailman struggles with getting mail through. This appears to be a huge flaw,,, IMO. I have to put the old inside flapper back on the door.It appears that these sizes are uniform, since replacing was real easy. Just remove the old screws and insert all new. Everything lined up perfect.The brass appears to be quality, but the design is troublesome.I can't recommend this.

Arrived quickly and fit perfectly for an old replacement mail slot. Solid brass seem to be good material as well.

I replaced a Baldwin brass piece with this one, and it's nearly identical. It looks great, works just like the old one, and was affordable.
