I had a Ford 641 tractor (134 ci) that was fouling two plugs and not running great. I think the distributor was worn out either had too much play or the lobes were worn down, so I installed this one which seemed to fix my fouling and rough running. Snug fit.4 stars only because the cheap rotor self-destructed within 5 minutes. Luckily I had an old one that still works fine. Had to replace the clip under the rotor too because it was flimsy.

841 tractor 172 cu. in. engine. Had a miss. changed out points, condensor , shaft bushing, cap ,wires and plugs. still had the miss. frustrated decided on buying whole new distributor. i t works fine now for 3 months. buy it worth every penny!!!

The unit functions as it should when the points are set correctly. The points did not have enough material at the point it touches the cam. Could barely adjust them to .016. The points continually slip closed.I replaced them with a new set. They slipped too. The distributor plate was stamped out of smooth material. It should have some kind of minimal texture to give the points something to grab on to . So I'll have to "modify" the plate to make it work. I was hoping for a plug and play. Several hours messing with this and still not done! I should me cutting grass instead I'm working on the tractor...
