Like advertised, this pizza peel seems to be exactly like advertised, Light weight but sturdy, the handle is long, narrow, easy to grip when removing pizza from the oven, and easy to clean. The only issue I ran into so far was when I used it to put the pizza in the oven, the dough stuck to the peel and I wound up losing half my toppings to the back of the oven. My daughter solved this issue by buying me the Ooni bamboo 12" pizza peel, storage is a small problem but worth it. I use the bamboo peel to put the pizza in the oven and the aluminium peel to remove the pizza from the oven. If anything changes in the next few months I will update my review but for now I find these pizza peels worth it.

Should you buy it? Yes.The peel is very well made. Easy to clean. It is a perfect peel for the Ooni oven. Add a little semolina flour to your pizza peel and this peel is amazing to work with. I really like the long handle and how sturdy it is. Launches my pizza very nicely. I highly recommend it.

I prefer the aluminum peel over the wood peel. This one works great. I recommend using corn meal on the peel before putting the dough and building the pizza so it doesn’t stick and slides off right into the oven.
