In this day and age, these probably seem unnecessary, but I have found them to be very useful. If you are a serious chef, baker, or pit boss, you probably appreciate how much a 10 degree temperature discrepancy can affect cook time and/or the quality of your finished product. These offer a quick, easy way to keep a close eye on the cooking temperatures in your oven or smoker, and will allow you to fine tune as needed to get the desired outcome for whatever you are cooking. This is especially helpful for cooking appliances that are less precise, like older analog stoves, or ones that are notorious for having hot and "cold" spots, like offset smokers. The fact that this is a three pack allows me to leave one in my oven, pellet grill, and toaster oven full time to ensure that the cooking temp is what the recipe calls for. The small size avoids the need to take up valuable space inside your appliance, and the bendable clip and flat base offer a couple options for how to position it where it is visible but out of the way. I did find that it was a little slow to register the temperature when my oven first alerted me that it was preheated, but this could just as easily be because the sensor in the oven is in a higher position and registered the set temperature before the full oven compartment had achieved that temperature. When I checked back a few minutes later, it was reading within a couple degrees of the set temperature, which is great confirmation of the accuracy of the thermostat in my gas oven. I have not needed to clean any of them yet, so I cannot speak to the ease of doing so, but I would imagine that it should not be too difficult, either scrubbing gently in the sink with dish soap and water, or even risking tossing it in the dishwasher if it ends up coated in baked on oils or woodsmoke residue. Heck, if they get ruined, they are an absolute bargain, so maybe just replace them if they get overly dirty and won't come clean.

The temperature seems to be registering ok, though I do not have anything to calibrate them against.One issue I have is that there is no slot in the hook to be able to hang them parallel to the door of the over. Since my shelf wires go front to back, if you hang the thermometer from them it faces toward the interior or exterior of the oven, not to the front. My old (now broken) thermometer had a slot in the hook to hang it so you could see the dial. It is not good to hang it from the front bar since that is just about sitting up against the door, and the other bars are too far back to be able to see the face easily.

I have learned that it my oven doesn't regulate correctly and having a thermometer like this keeps me from burning the cookies! It is easy to read and I love having one for the toaster oven as well. Great price for the set of 3.

This three pack of oven thermometers is really helpful to figuring out hot and cold spots in your oven to assist with better baking. The top has a hook that allows you to hang them from the racks to save space. The face is very clean and easy to read. I have noticed though that one of the thermometers has a 'sticky' spot around 300 degrees. While it eventually reads accurately, it gets a bit stuck at around that mark and will eventually pop to the actual temperature.

Thermometers are pretty simple and seem like they are pretty accurate. Very easy to place in your oven and read.

I first set all three of these up in my oven, to see if they were calibrated the same. I set my oven to 350, (My oven just happens to be off by about 50 degrees, she's getting old.) and all three read 300! I tried out a few other temperatures, and they all stayed rock solid in sync, so I'm sold. For such a small price, it pays huge dividends when you're cooking or baking, especially if food take much longer to cook than it should I think every oven should come with one of these, let alone 3!

Unfortunately one of mine came broken, but the other two thermometers were accurate in my oven. The clip attachment is adjustable so easy to bend into place to make sure it stays were you want it.

These look great, and work great.. I tested their accuracy, and they seem relatively accurate, i say relatively because going from 100-600 in such a short distance means that the resolution is somewhat low, so it could be off by 5-10 degrees and you'd not know. From what i could see it was as accurate as they could be, so i'm very happy with them.

At first, I wasn’t sure what to think. My oven would beep at 350 but thermometer was reading much less but once I waited a few more minutes then this thermometer did read exactly as my oven. I do have an auxiliary oven with only a light to signal temperature but does read extremely well!

The Linkhood Oven Thermometers are old school. No batteries. Just a thermal spring that turns a dial.We have one from the 1950s that is exactly the same and still works, but is all stained from years of being in the oven with greasy turkeys, etc.They will last forever.Nice easy to read dial.Just be careful of the sharp edges. These are made from thin steel and the edges are very sharp.
