Great thermometer. Easy to use and understand. Quick readings. I use it for foundry work for higher temp metals like copper. Works great do far.

When working with distillation flasks hold the device right up to the flask with the liquid to get an accurate reading i had issues then read online how to use these things properly. It more reliable than inserting a thermometer as a probe into a solution and it Non contact.Many projects in science require this!Thanks.

Easy to use. Seems to be accurate. The instructions are nearly useless. Good thing it’s easy to figure out how to use it on your own.

The unit is accurate, well made and easy to use. I purchased this to use with a small home forge but have not been able to get accurate readings on the forge or red hot metal. I do have other uses though so it will still come in handy.

It works but its accuracy seem to depend on it being used at room temperature. Meaning the device itself should be conditioned to be in room temperature while the target to be measured can be at a different temperature.
