I have an "antique" countertop Westinghouse roaster and wanted to be able to roast, bake etc. multiple layers of dishes at once...maybe roast on the bottom and vegies and side dishes over. The racks are a great quality, sturdy and great height for stacking backing items. Can do a 9x13 dish on the bottom and two or three racks of other items stacked above. Great use of cooking space. Racks fold nicely so I can actually store them all in the roaster. The racks are also a great landing place on the counter for cooling freshly baked items.

Was looking to replace my 2 smaller cooling racks as they were just too small. I use these racks in a baking sheet to run my oven on convection while reheating pizza or chicken fingers for my son. I also use them to cool off my chicken wings after they come out of the smoker to allow the skin to dry and not get wet from the steam of the other wings. It does feel a little thinner than my other ones that are made out of stainless steel as well, but it does not seem to flex much more than the smaller ones it is replacing. Not all of the grid is a perfect square you can see some of it is a little off, creating some smaller grid vs larger grid holes, but that is just a cosmetic issue that does not affect it's performance. I would say the flex is there, but not something to worry about. I did run this in the convection oven for 20 mins @350 and the rack kept its shape just fine.You get 5 in the pack, so you will need a big counter if you want to use them all at the same time....lol

I think these are great cooling racks and they definitely do what they're advertised to do, but they replaced identical ones that we got from Bed Bath and Beyond about 15 years ago. This version uses steel that's about 1/2 the diameter of the previous model. While they function as needed, the disappointment at the deterioration in quality crosses my mind each time I use them. If the thinner metal were an improvement in design I'd understand, but these are pretty wobbly and bend quite easily. I kept them because I feel as if there isn't another rack out there made like they were in the days gone by.

These cooling racks are listed as heavy weight. They are not. They are very lightweight but they are still very functional. And, there are FIVE! For the price, these racks are great. They have square openings which makes it easier to cool smaller cookies without them falling through. Each rack can hold (2) 9†pies.
