I read reviews about this pole and deemed it a target for product testing. Even brought the additional rod tip, which was included. Sleek design. Performed flawlessly and I loaded up some stupid bait trying to break this rod in half. Provided great table fair. Worth every penny and if a friend leaves it on top of the center console and it falls off, it's all good. 🤙ðŸ¾

I have not caught any fish with this combo, its not the fault of the rod and reel its because I am not a good fisherman. It has great action unlike me.

1. The “combo†came shipped in a plastic bag with a rubber band securing the bottom!2. The “combo†did not come with a reel3. The bottom of the rod was missing the cushion and looked like it was stepped on a few times4. The eye on the tip of the pole was broken5. The eye of the bottom piece was bent

First fish I caught was a 4 Ibs. bass and it fought pretty good!! This pole is sturdy and the reel is rather quick and smooth!!

I ordered two rods and both came with issues. One of the rods came damage with a few other deep scratches and the other was missing the screw to hold the handle.

You can tell this combo is built so well when you pick it up and the reel is heavy probably my best saltwater rod if not my favorite if caught plenty drum on it recommend.

I purchased this pole for my grandson for Christmas. When the order came in it was missing the top of the pole it only had the real in the base that was no big deal they immediately sent me out a new one. 2 weeks after Christmas I took my grandson to the dock we were loaded down with a fresh supply of live shrimp he cast his line out and immediately got a bite as my 9-year-old grandson set the hook the top of the pole broke in three pieces he was able to pull a small puffer fish out of the water needless to say if a small child can't break the top section of the pole setting the hook on a half pound fish this product is junk .

Hi PENN Fishing,I have a complaint: I bought the Penn Wrath 2500 Combo. Bought last year but never used.Yesterday took out and on 5th cast the Rod just broke. I want PENN to register my complaint and provide me a solution/replacement as soon as possible.
