This Pentek 150578 MC-1A bracket is used to mount filter housings on a vertical surface. It is made of strong metal. This bracket is used with Pentek #10 and #20 3G MB housings with 3/4" connections, which are used in a wide variety of applications, including drinking water purification, irrigation, and industrial processes, among others.
Water filters remove undesirable particles, chemicals, and microorganisms from water by means of a semipermeable barrier, adsorption, or biological processes. They are made of densely packed synthetic or natural fibers that trap suspended particles, materials that block microbes or adsorb unwanted chemicals, or substances that cause a chemical change, such as acid neutralization. Filtration systems typically consist of a series of two or more types of filters, each designed to remove different contaminants. The performance of filters is measured by the minimum particle size that is blocked, the percentage of particles or microorganisms that are removed, the downstream concentration of unwanted chemicals, the maximum flow rate, and the amount of water that can be filtered before the filter must be replaced. Water filters are used in a wide range of applications, including drinking water purification, swimming pools, industrial processes, and irrigation, among others.

Easy to install. Came with screws to go on the filter housing top as well as mount to a wood wall. I would recommend this.

I order this bracket since the Pentek filter system I ordered did not come with one. I went this this one even after reading some of the negative reviews simply because I wanted one that would work with the filter system without any modifications. The bracket is pretty sturdy and screws were supplied and made the install very easy. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Exact fit to hang water filter. Comes with screws and was easy to install. Extremely strong. I don't know why it is not included with the filter.

Well built, but was never even remotely close to fitting Pentair Pentak 150469 Big Blue filter housing. The correct bracket for Big Blue is BF7MB. See image for comparison .

Heavy gauge mount that comes with all fasteners needed and provides strong mounting for the housing.I'm very pleased with the construction of this mounting bracket.

very thin metal. works on small 10 inch high filter housings, but I would not use on 20 inch filter housings unless you want trouble and filter change aggravation.

I used this to mount a 34-PR-10 housing under the kitchen sink. It came with good quality screws for the housing and holfs it up fine. but the wall screws are low end. You can tell from the photo this would not be sufficient for a big 20" housing.

Doesnt fit a standard water filter holding a 2.5 x 10 inch filter. Holes are more than an inch over spaced. Will not recommend to anyone. I would have been better off making my own rather than wasting my hard earned money 3x on parts that don't fit.

Not as rugged as the bracket for the Big Blue 20" filter housing, but good enough. It is a perfect fit for the Pentek filter housing.
