The grind of this salt mill is excellent, very smooth operation and grain sizes are perfect in each of the five settings. The wood mill is quite handsome and of high quality as is the stainless steel grinding device. Make a very good gift for a cooking enthusiastic. Would recommend this product. Only downside was how is came packaged; the product is in a box which is perfect, but was shipped in a bubble pack bag rather than in a corrugated box. It seems like the bubble pack bag was squished with other packages so the product back was also squished. Luckily, the mill itself did not suffer any damage.

I like the pepper mill and I'm confident it will last me a very long time. My only complaint is the screw holding it in seems to need to be adjusted when changing the mill size from the smallest to the largest.

Peugeot grinders are the best that you can buy. Other than knives, it was my most used tool when working in restaurants. These are perfect in size for home use; not too tall and not too short that you have to fill all the time. The matte color and finish on these make them excellent display pieces for you kitchen.

The “item†lives up to the reputation that Peugeot has established. I can’t imagine wanting anything in a salt grinder that this one doesn’t offer.Built to last.
