Laundry Dryer Ducts should be cleaned at least once or twice a year to prevent build-up of flammable lint. These clamps do a great job of clamping the connections between pieces of duct that must be disconnected to do that cleaning. The little blue knobs are easy to screw open without requiring tools to do the job.

I bought these to mount a plastic reducer to a dust collection bag. I like the thumbscrews. Makes it much easier to tighten/loosen since I don’t have to involve a screwdriver. The size is pretty big compared to any hose clamps I’ve ever used in the past and I was happy to have found them since they were the size I ended up needing.

Wish I found these sooner. Will make sure I have various sizes to use instead of the screwdriver type. So simple to adjust and no rust to deal with or wraken connection at adjustment earea

As long as you have clear access to these when you use them, you are good. I recommend you set them at the closest size to the hose you are using before installing them. It can be a lot of twisting if you don't.

The Powertec hose clamp does its job and holds the 4" hose securely after tightening. Tightening can be a little difficult at times due to the length of the worm drive and housing. As you can see in the picture it is much shorter than another brand. This short housing puts the tightening key closer to the clamp band and hose and can interfere with the operation of the key.
