It's listed as heavy duty and so far it has held up to the steady use of my iron security door. My door constantly opens almost around the clock because I have dogs who sometimes need to go outside just to cool down. Apparently that is heavy use because aside from the original MFG door bracket, I purchased two others, including a "heavy duty" one that tore like a piece of paper. This one is holding it's own, but we'll see how it does over time. Fingers crossed.

The metal on these is thicker than what came with my Larson doors. And it fit perfectly.
