But won't fit on the stock ball joint on Tacoma 2011, you have to remove the rubber seal to able to fit this tool.

Very easy to use. Make sure you put it on the correct direction and way easier than a hammer, punch, or whatever. If it's for a one time use you may want to check out AutoZone's free tool loaner program but for the money this will be great to have for next time...and there will be a next time.

I bought this before removing the lower control arms on a Pontiac G8 (front end parts the same for G8 base, gt and gxp). The jaws of the tool do not open far enough (even on the second hole) to fit over the ball joint stud. Better to try just reversing the old nut on the stud and then tapping them out. Didn't work for me. I gave this tool a 2 star rating because after cutting off a piece of the stud, this tool did provide the leverage to push the ball joint out of the strut mounting. This was a rare instance with the joint stuck. For all of the other ball joints on the front end of this car a pickle fork is usually enough.
