I purchased this hour meter for my new Toro Time Cutter Zero Turn mower. The Toro branded meter was over 5X the price of this meter. The meter fit properly in the location provided on the mower console. The only issue was adapting the mower wire harness tothe meter. I made a jumper cable to resolve the issue. My low-cost hour meter option works great.

This did the trick for my Oman generator in my Winnebago. What I learned is that my old one went out because the battery died. The batteries are sealed in and I couldn’t open it up. Therefore this life span is limited to the 6 yr life of the internal battery if what I learned is in fact true.

I have ordered roughly 200 of these in the past couple of years since we use them on a product our company produces. We usually have about 30 on the shelf at a time. The past order we did we ordered 36 and 22 of them were defective and the battery inside of them seems to be dead. Unfortunately, we unboxed these defective meters 2 months after we purchased them which was past the return window. Hopefully the seller sees this reviews and makes it right with us. We are shipping back the 22 that are defective along with the working 14 to hopefully get a refund, but the fact that more than half of this order was defective is unacceptable. We will be using a different brand until we hear back from the seller.
