Used this to replace our 5-month old anode on a new suburban 6-gal heater. Could probably have waited another 6 months. Worked fine, and hasn't leaked. Do yourself a favor though, and purchase a real 1-1/16 socket with a breaker bar and 3" extension to remove the old one. You'll thank me later.

Direct fit for my trailer with no issues during installation. So far, so good. These rods are designed to degrade over time to protect your water heater, so only time will tell.

Replaced the old anode rod that had probably less than 20% of material left on it. It was a perfect fit and pre wrapped with teflon that went in easily.

Have only pulled it out once since installing, but it seems to be working fine.
