It got up to the thermostat set warmth once (89 F) and ever since then it's only been able to reach 84 F, despite the thermostat still being set to 89 F, keeping the mat constantly on.So really, the thermostat works great! The heating pad lacks warmth and power though. Touching the heating pad only confirms that it's quite weak. I'm purchasing a separate heating mat to rig with the thermostat becuase at least the thermostat is nice.EDITED: edit from 2 stars to 4 -- I'm not too sure why but suddenly its started to reach the right temp. Maybe its fluctuating with the actual voltage of the outlet? I'm not too sure, but I'm not complaining now that its decided to work :O

This is a great heating mat for kombucha. I purchased this one because I needed to be able to control the temperature. Great product at a great price.

I have a 12 pod hydronic system. This year my plants were so late to germinate. We have a solarium that is expensive to heat in the winter. I bought this hoping to keep the hydroponic system water at 85 degrees even though the solarium would get down to ~60 degrees at night. This little heating pad did the job, all my seeds germinated and were ready to transplant outside on time.

Non-functional from the start. With blanket unplugged, the display flashes on and off and makes a clicking sound. None of the buttons are working, holding the set button for 3 seconds doesn't nothing. When the blanket is plugged in the rate of clicking/flashing goes up and is again, non-funtional. I'm using this inside my house where it's 70 deg. Returning.

Good at warming a small/ medium box to desired temperature. The temperature controller is correct within 1-2 Fahrenheit. I would 100% recommend this if you're planning on making a incubation box :)

Seems to be doing the job! I'm glad I opted to pay a couple bucks extra for a control gauge set up instead of just a mat. Suuuuper helpful :)

Se tarda mucho en calentar y nunca sube a la temperatura q lo pongo. Lo tengo a 80 grados F y nunca sube a esta temp. Lo unico bueno es q tiene incluido el termometro y q jala a medias.

I used this product to get my seeds started. The thermostat is the reason I bought this mat. I can see at a glance what the soil temperature is.

It pricy for its construction... It feels cheap... It has worked hard for me though..temp is pretty accurate... and it's still going... I have two now one is a year old and still going... It is the mats I replace more often...I'd shop around... if you cant find one built better... Than this one will work just fine.
