Great sump pump! I used this pump to remove standing water indoors. It drains water quickly and efficiently, with a high flow rate. I’m impressed by how durable it is. The packaging was excellent, and everything arrived intact. It comes with a variety of accessories, which makes it easy to connect different hose sizes. Excellent quality pump with great performance! I used it to drain the water from my hot tub, and it worked perfectly. It drains water quickly and efficiently, with an impressive flow rate. I’ve been using this sump pump several times now, and I’m beyond impressed with its performance. The powerful 1/3HP motor drains up to 2400GPH and lifts water effortlessly. I love how it prevents debris with the side inlet design, and the metal filter really does a great job keeping the internal parts protected. Plus, the submersible water pump is incredibly sturdy and built to last .It’s a great value for the price!

I have an older sump pump that I use for various tasks like bailing rainwater out of a small trailered sailboat, or that has collected in a low corner of a crawl space. It has always been something of a chore to deal with it. It's fairly light, so tends to easily tip over, and it's hard to get it to stay level and in position. It has a wired float that has to be kept raised for it to run. Frankly, it's a pain. This little pump is great. It's relatively small, but heavy (a bit over 7 pounds with the cord), so it stays where I put it. It moves water quickly, and I don't have to fool with a float. The metal intake guard keeps debris out of it. I may make a larger mesh screen to sit it in if pumping out something with leaves in the mix that could block the intake guard's holes. One cool feature this one has is the little 3-slot bracket beside the handle. This can be used to securely hold a loop or two of the power cord to prevent strain on its connection, or even to allow lifting by the cord. It also serves as a place to hold the gathered cord loop when in storage. The cord is heavy-duty and over 16 ft. long. When I ordered it, I was a bit concerned that there was no mention of whether it had any protection against damage from running dry. I see that they have now added "Thermally Protected Motor" to one of the listing pictures. Still, just to be safe, I monitor it while it's pumping, or at least check on it frequently.
