Came adjusted. nice slip no slip-off. sharp teeth, seems quality steel. Large size for gloved hands. Fits back pocket just fine. Got the 10" on sale. Glad I did. These are made in USA and show it. Not flashy but seem so shout out, work me. Around the farm, these will get a lot of use. They are versatile .

I bought these for $14 and another pair of 8" pliars for $40. I ended up returning the expensive ones because these Tekton pliers were just overall better in every way. Not only did they fit in my belt holster perfectly, the teeth have held upto my constant abuse on a daily basis. In the few month's i've owned this pair the only damage so far is a small tear in one of the grips but that was because these are so stout I used them as a hammer once when trying to remove a big ass tapcon out of a concrete floor. I love these pliers and am going to buy a backup pair along with a pair for all my hoodrat friends.

Looked like quality pliers right out of the box. I like the feel and shape of the handles when using the pliers. Shape of the head and grooves is much more precise than an old Craftsman pair I have. Wire cutter works better than the Craftsman too.

My husband bought these. As a farmer he uses pliers all the time. He had used a very similar pairs from S&K for years but they discontinued this handle style, which he prefers because he has big hands and his grip is strong enough he can snap the bolt in low quality pliers. He chose the Tekton because they seemed very similar, American made, and at that price point he felt they were worth trying. He has not been disappointed! They are very sturdy and well made, he has had no issues with cutting wire, and would definitely buy them again.

The TEKTON 6-1/2 Inch Slip Joint Pliers (model 37122) are definitely designed well with quality materials. The jaws close together perfectly. They also have heavy duty soft vinyl grips on the handles which are really nice. Since they're made in the USA I figured I was buying quality, and boy was I right. The price is more than a lot of similar pliers on the market, but is well worth it. I'm very satisfied with this purchase, and recommend these pliers.

The pliers are exactly 9 14/16 long at rubber handle drip point.The widest part on the handle is 1 14/16 .The jaw entire working area is 1 7/16.When the jaws are slipped open they sit 1/2 open with handles straight.The teeth are not crosshatched.There is a cutting area that is roughly 1/4 wideAt the front of the jaws there is a very small lip on the upper and top, allowing for better pinching.The bolt and nut are not flush but rounded. The nut is rounded off.The handles are dipped rubber, and are smooth.On one side it says "TEKTON 37124 U.S.A" It looks laser etched.Overall, I think these 10 inch pliers are an absolute steal for the price. Don't hesitate to get them, they are very nice. They far exceed my expectations. I can't believe they are the price they are.

*Avis d'un Bricoleur averti …(+) Ce n'est pas ma première pince multiprise … mais cette forme compacte et droite est finalement très pratique et je l'utilise maintenant plus souvent que celles — plus classiques — qui sont courbées comme ce modèle (+) Prend peu de place dans la caisse à outil et permet d'avoir une pince à (presque) tout faire rapidement !(+) Le réglage d'écartement (2 positions) est simple et très efficaceRésumé : je ne connaissais pas du tout cette marque (et n'ai pas souvenir de l'avoir vu dans les Home Depot US), d'autant plus que le nom a une consonance un peu Germanique, mais — merci AMAZON — il y a de bonnes idées innovantes et de bonnes réalisations à prendre dans tous les pays qui "bricolent"A AVOIR IMPÉRATIVEMENT … d'autant plus que le prix est très raisonnable !

El acero me parece de buena calidad y el diseño correcto. el plástico en el agarre me gustó, no es demasiado grueso y se puede sujetar con firmeza y comodidad. Los acabados no son precisamente buenos (algo de rebaba en la mordaza y el vaciado no se rectifica por completo. una pasada con limatón fino y listo. Las imperfecciones del acabado en el vaciado no influyen en su funcionamiento. Por el precio creo que es una buena compra.

These pliers are built like a tank, they should be very strong. I would prefer a rivet than a nut and bolt pivot but that’s no big deal.I now have the 6†8†and 10â€, good, strong made in the USA slip joint pliers.

Really great set of basic pliers. Seemed to be machined really well and are very sturdy. I actually think I prefer them to my channellock pliers (the red rubber handles seems thicker/nicer than the channellocks).Made in USA too which is increasingly hard to find. Pretty impressed with all of the Tekton tools I've purchased (combination wrenches, pliers, pry bars, torque wrenches). Seem to be great bang for your buck.
